Aroma of guava and grapefruit:not much conifer. Tastes of same. Guava gets a little overwhelming / beer gets a little monochromatic as one drinks.

355 mL bottle. Hazy orange-gold with a decent white head. Laces nicely as well. There is mild citrus and tropical fruit in the nose, as well as a little tea. The flavour is much the same. Nice beer.

341 ml bottle from Bishops Cellar. Pours a cloudy golden orange colour with moderate-sized white head. Aroma is bright tropical fruit, citric hops, tea and sweetish maltiness. Flavour has distinct guava and tea notes that pairs nicely with grapefruity/herbal hoppiness, and an sweet underlying maltiness that gives off some caramel character. Medium plus body. An excellent beer

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2015 Murky orange, big beige head. Fresh citrus hop aroma, bergamot, resiny. The sweetness is well hidden behind a wall zesty resins. Fresh and hoppy! Might be a bit too harsh and abrasive, but I like it!

12oz bottle into an English pint, Murky yellowish brown pour which looks rather unappealing; nose is very pleasant though, with peach, apricot, and some earthy notes. Flavour is largely grapefruit, with a sharp bitterness bordering on astringent, slight tea flavour, with a bitter, peppery finish. Curious, a lot going on, still not sure if I’m a fan of it or not though.

Bottle from Bishop’s Cellar, Halifax. It pours hazy golden - orange with a nice fluffy white head. The nose is soft, juicy, peach, apricot, mango, guava, bergamot, sweet floral, earth and bread. The taste is bitter, earthy tea, grapefruit, bergamot, floral notes, grassy bitterness, guava/watermelon and light spice, with a lingering dry, peppery finish. Medium body and decent carbonation. Works rather well imo. Bitter and tasty.
