Bottle 341ml shared by Calisky. A cloudy amber beer with low head. Nose is light on exotic fruits. Aroma is sweet, medium malty pine and resin notes, body is on mango and pine, quite sweet, astringent and tannic. finish is bitter with orange touch.

Bottle pour@5e Mondial de la Bière, Mulhouse - SO, courtesy of Emmanuel, merci. Deep golden orange pour. Enticing nose of dried mango and gentle grapefruit perfume, bergamot shampoo. Taste has a sourish stone fruit layer over the bolder, leafy Earl Grey bitterness, tying things up towards a dry finish. Alluring composition.

Hazy orange with a white, creamy, lasting, thin, head. Smells of fresh fruity hops, with caramel, with a nice peach. Tastes of sweet caramel with a nice hoppy balance and a dry slightly stale finish. A fresh nice IPA with a nice balance against the sweetness.

Had some very big differences between different bottles and taps. When at its best its really good, but it can also be so bad you can’t recognize it. Medium body. Good carb. Moderate bitterness. Fruity.

Bottle from Dunham brewery courtesy of my Mom. It is a deep copper verging on amber with a thick fluffy beige head nd thick creamy lacing. This bottle is about 3 months old now so some of the hops seem to have dropped out. Pine bark, nutty, light malty caramel. It is medium-full bodied with a rough carbonation. The taste is earthy, bitter, pine, sweat socks, etc. Not doing it for me but as noted it is an old bottle... Wow I didn’t get the guava purée or tea at all. After hearing about it I can taste the guava in the finish, solid enough but I need to taste it fresh.

(341mL bottle from Depanneur Peluso) Pours really murky deep brownish gold, fine white head, little lace. Aroma sweet, caramel malt with guava, muddled tropical fruit and orange, a floral and slightly spicy impression that must be the earl grey, with just a hint of bergamot (hard to pick out without looking!). On the palate the caramel is much lighter, less sweet. Brusque citrus oils at first (hops, bergamot, both?) giving way to more guava flesh in the middle and then back to a tannic, astringent finish. It is interesting how much the finish, in particular, is tea-like in character and flavor. I think the hop profile is well-matched to the guava and tea additions, though it may also be somewhat muted compared to freshly bottled. The finish is extremely dry but the bitterness restrained. Mouthfeel medium-full, carb soft, slightly oily. Clings to the roof of the mouth. The additions certainly don’t beat you over the head, but do a decent job complementing what’s a good IPA to begin with. I feel like it might have been a bit punchier fresh/on draught but definitely would get again.

From J. Walter 341ml bottle, golden and hazy with small to no head. Hop and floral smell disappear pretty fast once poor. Medium bitterness and salty. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation and long bitter finish. At first it look and smell as a solid product, but the more I drink my glass less I’m exited, still a good beer.

Pours hazy orange with a fluffy white head. Tropical aroma consists of guava and oranges. It’s not super bitter by any means. Well balanced and actually on the sweet side. Very enjoyable.
