A nicely hopped beer. An IPA for days you don’t want a hop assault nor a malt assault. Very good summer drinkability. Lots of head.

Bottle 341ml. Pours blond with low white head. Aroma is of malt, hop. Taste is the same. Palate: ligth body. Overall: Not a very interesting beer, but it does the job. Interesting sligth hops. Not my favorite from Dunham.

341ml from Duchesse d’aiguillon.
Appearance : Clear pale yellow with small white foamy head.
Aroma : Honey notes with light malt. Herbal hops.
Taste : Honey with malt and some herbal hops. Finish herbal with honey. Moderate bitterness. Light spicy hops.
Palate : Soft carbonation.
Overall : Slightly boring and uneventful. Not much defects that I can detect. Cleanly brewed just not very flavorful. Decent but nothing worth having again.

Aroma: A bit malty with notes of coriander but very unpleasant sour accent. Appearance: Hazy straw with greenish accents. Head is creamy and long lasting with nice lacing. Taste: Attack is malty with notes of butter biscuits. Hops are taking place after and we can feel the sparkling and refreshing taste. A good carbonation. Despite the sour nose this ale is pleasant, well balanced and refreshing. Good bitterness; almost a pale ale.

My Bottom Line :
Polished pale malts sign this Golden Ale’s flavor profile, leading the way for leafy hop resins and their deft bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A veil of foam tops the misty blond.
-The pale malts are ever-so-slightly toasted and quite aromatic.
-The hop bitterness might surprise a few unsuspecting drinkers at the pub, but if you know Dunham brews, there would be no surprise at all.
-More aromatic hops could enhance the overall experience.
-This is not a brew that’s going to score well on Ratebeer, but its nicely extracted malt flavors still make it stand out within its category.
-The hop finish is a tad vegetal at times.

On tap at Vices et Versa.

Bottle - 341ml. Blond body with a fair, lasting white frothy head. Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with spicy and flowery hints. Well balanced malty/hoppy taste with grainy and piney notes. Ends with a good bitter/herbal finish. Very enjoyable blond ale.
