[3866-20110807] 341mL bottle. Fruity hops aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a quick foamy off-white head. Bitter fruity pineapple resin hops flavour. Medium body is fairly bitter. Nice bitter. (7/3/7/4/14) 3.5

A good english style ipa. Lots of fresh goldings, pungent and floral. Solid cereal malt bill to back the hops. High bitterness, and a good piney aftertaste.

341 mL bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a huge, creamy, off-white head. On the nose is caramel malt, floral hops, apple, leafy/earthy aromas, light citrus, and some very sharp phenolic notes. The mouth feel is medium with medium-high carbonation. The taste is biscuity malt, toffee, apple, grapefruit, and leafy hops. Finish is medium-long, leaving fruity/floral notes, grapefruit and some bitter hops. There is a very earthy and musty character to this one which works well with the bread malt. Good amount of bitterness. Not bad at all.

341ml bottle, clean amber-copper color, with a bubbly beige head, mild fruity, yeasty stewed apple, faint orange peel, grainy honeyed toasted, caramel malt nose, with some apple pie crust, apple skin, subtle floral fruity, leafy hop accents in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with an earthy wet flowery tobacco leaf, grassy hop character, with a grainy vegetal, toasted, caramel, pale malty flavors, and a light minty, zesty lime peel undertone, leading towards a light honeyish maltiness, earthy wet, lingering grassy, leafy hop bitterness finish.

Golden copper with a nice white head. Aromas is all Golding hops with a touch of caramel malts. Medium body, average carbonation, nice clean golding bitterness, finishing on a nice balance between malt and hops. Really easy drinking english style IPA, nothing complex but well done. On tap at Les Soeurs Grises.

[on tap at Vices et Versa] Yeasty, woody aroma with some belgian-like esters and quite a few phenolic notes and faint lemon. Hazy bronze under lacy, white wisps. Phenolic flavour that is a bit sour, almost like there was wheat malt, that develops into faint spicy, toffee malt. Medium bitterness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderately bitter finish. This English IPA tastes Belgian! Fermentation/yeast troubles?

An orange amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, caramel malt with floral grassy hops, light and smooth. In mouth, a nice nutty grainy malt, lightly roastedm herbal hops, light coffee notes, very nice. On tap at Vices et Versa, Nov. 4 2011.

Bottle - 341ml. Nica amber body with a good off-white foamy head. Decent, well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with light grassy and caramel hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries some woody notes and ends with a decent bitter finish. Enjoyable, average IPA.

Pour bronze with off white head. Aroma biscuit, caramel, pine, floral hops. Taste floral, biscuit, caramel, citrus, cereal grain. MF medium body nice lively carb. Solid brew really good flavor easy drinking well done.
