Ethereal (2399) - Los Angeles, California, USA - AUG 3, 2011
12 fl. oz. bottle, 16th Nov 2010. Brought to Game Connection Lyon by the Canadian trade delegation. Bottle gave strength as 6.5%. Slightly hazy russet brown with a line of cream-coloured head. Caramel, burnt sugar and toffee nose and similar, sweet flavour. Soft, drinkable palate but not the depth of flavour I’d hope for from an old ale.

Bottle 34,1 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours an almost clear amber with a lacing off-white head. Dry fruity aroma, slightly woody and yeasty. Solid body, dry caramel and yeast, dry hoppy finish. The yeastiness is somewhat off-putting and out of place. 250711

Bottled. A deep red beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, and dried fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of dried fruits, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry and somewhat tart finish.
