341ml bottle. Pours nearly black with a two finger, khaki head that leaves modest lacing. Aroma is very nice. Roasted malts and chocolate blended with some milk chocolate and floral notes. Yum. Taste is bitter but not overdone. Roasty with bitter chocolate, faint florals, and a drawn out, espresso bitter aftertaste. Medium-full body with a medium carbonation smooth texture in the mouth with a dry finish. Overall a really nice porter. Lots of chocolate and roasted malt paired with faint, but noticeable, floral hop notes. Would get again.

Bottle to tulip glass.
App.: Pitch black with a brownish lasting head.
Aroma: Strong coffee and black chocolate bitterness, smoked malt in the far end.
Taste: Hop comes in, herbal taste with the smoked malt, coffee and chocolate comes back in the after taste.
Palate: Pretty bitter, near astringnent, slick texture.
Quite enjoyable, could be a little bit better balanced.

Boutip (4642) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 6, 2014
Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color porter with a dark brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma consists of light dry roasted notes with subtle chocolate notes. Taste is also dominated by dry bitter roasted malt notes with some subtle chocolates notes with light green herbal notes. Body is fuller than average with good carbonation. Overall this was enjoyable but not sure this should be rated so highly.
