Black pour with a monster-sized cap. Aroma of cocoa, dark bakers chocolate, roasty. Taste of oatmeal, pine, roasted malt, smoke, wood, chocolate. Medium body, average carbonation. Really like what this brewery has been doing lately.

341ml bottle courtoisie Tommy, thanks man! Big malicious dark pour, fairly carbonated, nice lacing and bubbly tanned head that disapptes quickly. Great smell, smokey, sweet, minor hop presence. Taste is fairly smokey up front, finishes bitter with a hint of coffee. A very well rounded porter.

Bottle from Tommy! Thanks! Opaque black body with low carbonation and a thick beige foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with chocolate and roasted cereals hints. Its sharp hoppy taste is well balanced. It carries malty, brown sugar, and roasted coffee notes. Ends with a long bitter/roasty finish. Very well done - thoroughly enjoying this one.

What can I say about this beer... one of the better porter (6%, 55 IBU) I have had in Quebec. Pours a nice rich black liquid with a thick coffee/milk color head. Flavors of chocolate, coffee, bit earthy highly drinkable porter. Dunham have amazing beers, and this one is in their top. In my top 5 porter in Quebec and will enjoy regularly.

Rich porter with deep smoky malt finished with some nice hop bitterness. Some hints of chocolate and coffee but mostly a dominant smokiness. Very fine porter.

(Rating #4556)

Pours pitch black with a thick mocha head that slowly fades leaving a good lace. Aromas of roasted nuts and bitter chocolate. Full body, silky texture, lots of mocha, medium carbonation , ending on light roastiness and lingering herbal bitterness. More stout than porter in my opinion, but nevertheless very well made and highly pleasant beer with a very high drinkability. Every sips calls for another one...
