3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Sam_Sicotte (23) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 7, 2012
Verse une blonde relativement brouillée avec un col blanc mousseux. Arômes de pins, d’agrumes et de houblons. En bouche, un mélange de conifères, agrumes (citrons) sur fond d’amertume. Très agréable, bel équilibre.

Pours a cloudy light golden yellow with a medium frothy top and good lacing. Aroma is pineapple and grapefruit hops and light grain. Taste is moderately bitter, grapefruit hop flavouring. Slightly sweet malt, some honey.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 VT (285) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 5, 2012
341 ml bottle. Pours a somewhat sediment-filled straw with a resilient white head. Smells like grains and citrus. Tastes like cereals, grains and yeast. Very dry. Sharp sandy, herbal, hoppy, lemon bitterness in the finish. VERY lemony bitterness. Light-to-medium-bodied, creamy. Excellent pale ale.

Bouteille 341 ml. 6.5%. Couleur jaune or foncé, mousse blanche crémeuse. Arôme de houblon, citrus et malt. En bouche, malt, céréale, houblon et citrus de houblon américain. Finale amére typique côte ouest. Excellente.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 AlainG (242) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 4, 2012
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 dresden (267) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - MAR 2, 2012
After getting a box of good stuff from SlovakSniper, I didnt know where to start, this was the first one i grabbed in the dark. Cloudy golden with a fizzy white head. Bigtime citrus on the nose, a bit of pine too. Huge pine flavour. Citrus and flower as well. Tastes like the time i filled a grapefruit with grass and ate it as a salad. I never did that. Good beer.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 UM02 (211) - Quebec, CANADA - FEB 18, 2012
Very dry and hoppy. I am a hophead but something about the combination of hops in this does not do it for me. There is something lacking in the malt too, the beer is a bit too thin and unbalanced. There is also a grassy hay like taste. A bit of a hybrid between an APA and IPA but lacking in malt body to be a really good APA but while bitter there is some oomph lacking in the hop flavouring to make it a really good IPA. I am still searching for this breweries replacement to Hoppy their fine even if unbalanced bitter IPA that the previous incarnation of the brewery produced.

On tap at Vices & Versa, slight honey gold hue, with a white head, nice zesty citrusy, orange, limon, soapy floral tropical fruit hoppy notes in the nose, with some faint piney, leafy accents in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a good, yeasty, flowery tropical, zesty, citrus, leafy, grassy hop character, with some lemon, grapefruit rind, lychee, pear, mango hoppines flavours, leading towards a zesty, tropical fruity, citrusy hoppy bittering finish.
