COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

This is a great beer! Pours light orange with a huge foamy head and big clumps of lacing. This beer is possible 5-6 months old, maybe even a bit more which may explain the floaty chunks and the foamyness. Nose is piney and fruity. Aromas are pine up front, some light fruit through the middle with a more flowery hop finish. Tastes are light bitter to start, then some light fruit and finally a nice medium bitter finish. Mouth is medium body with lively carbonation. Really nice beer that I’ll re-rate again someday with a fresher example.

Another of Dunham very good beer. Aroma is mostly bread for malt, citrus, herb hops (very well done with Centennial, Cascade & Amarillo), maybe a bit of banana. Pale yellow color, hazy, with a fast disappearing white head. Medium bitterness and light sweet. Texture is oily-creamy with soft carbonation with a light bitter finish (as a APA should be). At the top of my list for APAs made in Quebec.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2013 Orange, ananas bien enrobé dans un corps juste assez robuste pour une pale ale. Fini sec, amertume douce.

Nice aroma, this is what sticks out for me. Orange peels. Overall good beer. Would drink again.

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2012 Aroma: Citrus, lemon, grapefruit and a bit of banana. Hoppy floral accents as well. Very complex nose. Appearance: Hazy blond with small particles. Head is generous, white, mostly lasting and average lacing. Taste: Grapefruit and citrus are dominant. Cascade is working well. Hops are very dry and cutting. Bitterness is strong and powerful but it’s also easy to drink. Very well balanced and complex. Tasting more like an IPA than a pale ale. Makes a good upgraded everyday beer. Re tasted from cask at Vice-Versa in Montreal on October 6th 2012: Aromas are sticking out more with more cereal and floral accents than bottle. Color is a little bit darker, almost gold. Head is marvelous and holding very long. Flavors are same as bottle but a bit more faded. Still a very good APA. Worth trying in cask at V-V.

341mL thanks to JulienHuxley. Pours clear golden with a bunch of yeast chunkies after sediment is accidently dumped in. Probably should force carbonate these hoppy styles. Large, rockier, off-white head. Impressive retention. Soapy, webby lace. Nose is sugary kumquat, sharp walnuts, cinnamon, sharp apple pie. Taste is very nutty, dry, Brasil nut skins. Too bad.

One of the better non american APAs that I have tried. Nice floral, grassy hops that have a slight citrus kick as well. Clean malts and yeast let the hops really shine.

Very light and refreshing. Good herbal citrus aromas. Light finish, light sweetness, good pale ale

Pint at Bateau de Nuit. Hazy yellow gold. Meringue-like cap. Huge floral and citrus burst of taste. A mix of grapefruit bitterness and sweet citrus. Maybe pomegranate bitter? Aroma is more floral and citrus forward. Lemon lime. Muted pine. Some fresh cut grass in there too. Perfect dry finish.

Tap at Toronto Fest of Beer. Pale golden orange pour. The nose is a little bit hoppy with a nice fresh orange peel aroma. A little bit fruity. Decent pale ale
