Bottle. Pours golden, smallish head. Never saw so much yeast strains in the chalice for a good pour. Aroma is citrus/grapefruit and piney hops in a somewhat "rough" way. Taste is sweet malts and lots of hops taste -- pineable and grapefruits. Would’ve like more complexity. Good body, oily mouthfeel. Bitter finish. All around... decent but a wee bit expansive.

Draft at Vices et Versa with Andrew, Ricky, PJ, Brendan and Street. Pours a light amber orange body with no head, light white lacing. Aroma is faint hop, fresh citrus fruit and spice. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with nice bitterness upfront, grapefruit, pine, citrus, lemon, light malt character and spice.

Bouteille 500ml, aucune date.

Not anything marvelous but I think it deserves a better rating. Tons of pine and candied orange.

[bottle at DwEEBs meeting] Potent cat piss hops with some phenolic pepper accents and spicy hops. Cloudy orange-yellow under a yellowy foam. Salty cat piss hops flavour with some peppery phenolics and a ton of bitterness. Medium body, high carbonation, astringent finish.

Tap at Vices et Versa, Montreal - 03/03/12. Cloudy blonde with a small white head. Pine, grapefruit, mango, hops and a sweet malt nose. Taste similar to aroma but not overly hoppy, more malt coming through. Medium body, low carbonation. More akin to an IPA than a DIPA IMHO.

Pours a cloudy deep gold with almost no carbonation whatsoever. Aroma is pine hop bite and sweet caramel malt. Taste has the initial pine hop bitterness and dryness, then it sweetens out with the malt but it’s lacking in the complexity you will find with the top tier DIPA’s. Still one of the better ones coming out of Quebec though.

No foam, hazy, lots of yeast floating in a golden-orange liquid. Not impress with the look of that brew. Little malty nose with slight resin notes. Nice bitterness, but I find the body a bit too light. Small tea after-taste that surprised me in a good way. 1,99$ for a 341ml bottled would be a good deal but at 8,99$ for 500ml, I have absolutly no intention to buy it again.

A lightly hazed dark amber ale with a thin creamy brown head. In aroma, beautiful sweet caramel malt with piney floral hops, wild grass, nice. In mouth, good oily caramel malt with intense piney hops, resinous and floral, grapefruit pulp, oily and smooth. On tap at Vices et Versa, Feb. 10 2012.

Bouteille 500ml.
