[My bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o Glouglouburp] Gusher! Pours a very dark brown with a massive foamy tan head -- looks like an ice cream float. Aroma is yeasty and chocolaty along with some herbs and just a hint of spice. Flavour is also yeasty and chocolaty along with some light chipotle and hops in the finish -- seems a bit infected. Average bodied. Pretty good despite a possible infection.

I should preface by saying I love Dunham stuff, and once I finally treated the beer or was good, but what a fucking gusher. I opened the bottle and it slowly fished out for nearly an hour. Taking two glasses or didn’t help at all. Anyways finally got a nice lightly smoky, faintly spicy porter. Decent stuff but too agrivating.

750 ml bottle from halles de St Jean A: chocolate, chipotle, caramel app: pitch black beige head and good lacing. T/p: med body with short bitter finish. some warmness from the alcohol/pepper. O: good an interesting brew. A bit surprise by the warm feeling but really enjoyed it.

204] 750mL bottle. Earthy metallic chocolate aroma. Hazy, dark mahogany brown body with an enormous and insistently gushing foamy tan head. Chocolate toasted grains flavour has a long roasty aftertaste. Medium-full body is full of bubbles. Good, strange. (7/3/7/3/15) 3.5

Bottle, courtesy of Dany at some point. Split with my wife. When the mammoth overzealous foam settles down, it pours a deep brown to black with an incredibly large tan head. Soft chocolate on the nose, a bit of paper and cardboard, maybe some infection going on (as if the huge pile of foam didn’t hint in that direction already), with a bit of dusty pepper behind it. Medium bodied, sweet vinous notes, a bit of earthy pepper tones but no heat. Chocolate, which with the pepper notes gives off a bit of a spiced Mexican hot chocolate flavor. Slow plum and chocolate on the finish, slight warmth, either from alcohol or pepper heat, slow roast and cocoa.

2014-12-04. Black body with a massive foamy tan head after a slow but steady gusher out of the bottle. 3++ Aroma of dry dusty roast dark malt. 7+ Flavour is similarly dry, dark malt core, modest chipotle grows in the finish with a pleasant warming quality. Average bodied palate, over carbonated. 3+ Decent. Bottle shared by Blankboy

750 ml bottle. Pours a ruby reddish black with a thick, resilient beige head. Aroma is chocolate, coconut, smokey. Flavor is loaaaadddsss of chocolate, grilled coconut. Finish is spicy, mexican food, coffee. Lingering hot pepper burn. Medium to full body, spicy mouthfeel, overly strong carbonation. Good carbonation, a bit of a gusher...maybe too carbonated...

Porter à la noix de coco et aux piments chipotlé. Arômes de noix de coco sucré,du chocolat,notes de pain grillé avec une touche de poivre moulue.Très onctueuse en bouche le chocolat noir domine en présence,touche de coco sucré,traces de noix,final légèrement amère et crémeuse.c’est en arrière goût que le piments ce fait découvrir tout doucement ce laissant collé aux tannins, ce qui apporte une légère impression de chaleur qui picote doucement. Le balancement est très intéressant et l’équilibre est hallucinante. Tès beaux porter, l’hiver sur le balcon c’est parfait. Solide.

Bottle: Poured a black color porter with a huge dirty brown color head with nice retention and some good lacing. This bottle was indeed a major gusher as mentioned previously by other raters. Aroma of cacao is pretty intense with light chipotle flavours also noticeable. Taste is a very well balanced mix between cacao with light dry bitter notes with some lightly spicy notes from the chipotle. Body is about average for a porter with incredible carbonation which could be toned down. I quite enjoyed this one and liked the fact that the chipotle notes were more dominant than what I had previously tasted in the draft version.

750 ml bottle from Broue Ha Ha, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. MASSIVE GUSHER.

App.: Deep brown-black with a mocha head. Aroma: Lots of chocolate, some hot pepper fruitiness, black coffee, a light smokiness, a light tangy note, a little grape bubble gum, not bad. Palate: Medium+ body, fairly full, rounded carbonation. Flav.: Plenty of chocolate, a pleasant hot pepper heat, grape bubble gum, light coffee, pepper fruitiness, molasses; somewhat sweet but balanced with sufficient bitterness and a nice hot pepper sting, some alcohol and a long chocolate finish.

Nicely done.
