3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
My Bottom Line:
A dollop of honey swiftly moves into wheat, light wilderness and green hop bitterness in this engaging quencher.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the clear blond.
-Mouthfeel is dry and polished.
-Drinkability is through the roof.
-This is actually reminiscent of Trou du Diable beers mouthfeel-wise and also in the delicate complexity which resides in the flavor profile.
-Looking forward to having bottles of this at home!
On tap at Vices et Versa.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
2013-01-21.Crisp yellow body with a large foamy white head. 3++ Aroma is yeasty and lightly flowery, reminds me of Unibroue but I can’t put my finger on why. Flavour is pleasant, pale malt, dry floral hops, good amount of bitterness, relatively bitter. Average bodied palate, good amount of carbonation. Not super complex but quite quaffable. Enjoyable. [My bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o Glouglouburp] Pours a hazy bubbly gold with a huge long-lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is yeasty along with herbs & spices, light grassy hops, lemon and a hint of honey. Nice flavour, citrusy, yeasty and herbal along with a good amount of spices in the dry finish. Medium bodied. Really tasty, a very good Saison.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty yellow color ale with a large foamy head with great retention and some good lacing. Aroma consists of peppery yeast with some rustic malt and lightly sweet notes. Taste is also a superb mix of peppery yeast with some rustic malt notes and lightly sweet honey notes that are also perceptible. Rye malt are also noticeable and provide a bit of spicy/peppery notes. Body is full with medium carbonation. Incredibly well brewed with great level of drinkability.
