Mium!

Sample, a cross between a biere de grade and a saison, it’s light though which makes it ok

Bottle from Tom10101, thanks! Aroma is fairly phenolic with pepper, coriander and lemongrass. Moderate citrus note with some light pear and floral esters. Pours a slightly cloudy very pale yellow with a thick, pillowy white head that slowly recedes but has fairly good retention. Faint legs with moderate esters. Flavor has a light sweetness with a nice citrus note upfront. Some light graininess and oat flavor. Medium light spice nor s of pepper and coriander; the spice is lighter than in the aroma. Hints of floral esters and medium pear note. Medium bitterness, but fairly smooth. Very faint floral hop flavor. The finish has a touch of lingering bitterness as well as a hint of pepper. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Water has a nice soft character to it and adds a nice dimension to the beer. Overall another very enjoyable Saison from our brothers to the north. The water quality reminds me of Hill Farmstead and the phenolics and esters are well balanced. I personally enjoy my saisons with a bit of funk, but this is a nice clean one.

Hazy golden-yellow body, large white head, dense soapy lacing. Bright floral, grassy, citric, and peppery notes. Clean, classic saison character. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, refreshing finish. Not overly complex, but tasty.

Pour I hazy yellow with nice white fluffy head and good lacing. Aroma is clean saison yeast, peppery, light grassy notes. Taste is peppery, grassy, crisp malts, well attenuated. Low body and good carb. Very good drinkability and refreshing.

750 mL bottle from Broue Ha Ha served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. Clear bright golden with a nice white head. Pungent green, grassy, lightly peppery hops, quite a bit of yeast and bread dough, light esters and phenols, a touch funky, well-executed. Medium body and full, pillowy effervescence. A nice blend of esters, phenols, green, grassy hops, bitter green herbs, light yeast notes and a touch of funk; dry with decent bitterness and a pleasant, estery, fruity, peppery finish. Nicely done.

Great beer, super floral and fruit aroma as soon as it exits the bottle. Wonderful tartness to this saison (being a fan of gueuzes). I tasted this without any proper way to take notes or record my impressions, but will do so hopefully again with this beer. Really satisfying, refreshing saison.

750 ml bottle from Tommy, thanks man! Honey yellow pour, loads of carbonation, my glass is filled to the brim with white frothy head. Aroma of bananas, lemon, yeasty. Flavour is mild lemon, a little bit herbal, some mild hop presence towards the back, a nice crisp semi dry finish. Overall a well balanced, flavourful saison.

En fût, Couleur paille, subtile nez de malt. En bouche, on reconnait clairement la malt d’une lager, on reconnait les épices d’une saison. Finale sèche. Très agréable.
