750 ml bottle purchased at La Saucisserie BAM (La Saucisserie Ste-Rose) in Laval (Quebec) on May 7, 2013. Blonde straw, average head. Aroma of spicy and dry herbs, with notes of citrus wheat. Taste very dry wheat, sour citrus notes, very bitter herbs. Good summer beer!

Pour @ RateBeer Best Festival. Hazy light yellow appearance with an off white head. Aroma had a lot of grassy hops, some hay / straw, light pepper, and some lemon. Moderate to moderate high bitterness. Dry. Nice carbonation. Lightly fruity, very herbal, and a bit spicy saison. Easy to drink and refreshing. I enjoyed the hops on this.

On tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very rustic indeed, with rustic farmhouse notes, spicy yeast, and crackery malt. Flavour is very crisp and spicy, with lots of crisp spicy yeasty notes, a nice herbal quality, and crisp crackery malt. Bone dry, with a lovely astringency. Excellent.

Bottle, gusher. Hazy yellow with a large white head. Bretty nose with leather, barnyard, band aid, wood, grapes, pepper. Flavour follows with plenty of brett; leather, barnyard. Grapes, dust, must, wood, pepper, hay. Light/medium body, over carbonated which also makes it difficult to pour. Little sweetness, pleasant bitterness. More farmhouse than saison, a bit in the lines of Anchorage. Fine beer.
