pours black oily color, clear, with huge long lasting light brown color. Firstly I thought, that beer was oxidized, but carbonation was really high. Aroma: intense rich dark, roasted malt aroma, with notes of chocolate, mokka coffee, cocoa powder, hint of licorice. Very similar are flavors, with prevailing note of mokka coffee, bittersweet chocolate, hint of cocoa powder, licorice, supported with hop flavor, which steps forward in second half and takes on citruses, grapefruit, hint of pine...finish is slightly bitter. body is full, texture soft, carbonation is low.

Draft @ ML Fontainas, 3ième fête de la St Jean, shared with Rlgk and _Angst_.

Dark and roasty with a sappy and slightly sticky body, this dark Quebecker has an almost liqorice quality with an almost faint root beer type quality. Pretty good really.
