Bouteille de 341 ml achetée chez La Barik (Trois-Rivières, QC). Arôme: Légère odeur de coriandre et d’agrumes. Apparence: La couleur est blonde pâle voilée avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un large col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de coriandre et d’orange avec une pointe de citron. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture minérale. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Présence de zestes d’orange en arrière goût. (Rating #3997)

My Bottom Line :
This Witbier’s balance of orange zest, floral hops, coriander and wheat remains flavorful and refreshing from beginning to end.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A veil of foam sticks to the cloudy white. Classic Witbier look.
-This is a brand-new batch, and it’s obviously been significantly improved if I rely on past ratings.
-The finish is perhaps more bitter than the average Witbier’s.
-The mouthfeel is prickly and a tad oily.
-This is very drinkable.

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2012 bottle from guyon farm A: coriander, citrusy App: hazy light yellow small white rim. T/p: thin body with average long bitter finish. flat. O: neutral nothing stand up I?ve had better example from macros. the spice mix didn?t work for me.

Liquide assez pâle et plus ou moins limpide ayant une mousse timide. Des arômes sulfureux en émanent, ainsi que de la levure et des vapeurs acidulées. Son goût est fade et légèrement gazéifié. Des élans épicés, de gingembre, font une brève apparition pour s’effacer presque aussitôt derrière des saveurs acidulées. Une belle déception, parce que je lui ai donné plus qu’une chance et j’en arrive toujours à la même conclusion.(224-070512)

Pours a hazy light straw yellow with a big fizzy white head. Really carbonated. Aroma is wheat, belgian yeast and slight banana. Taste is fizzy with carbonation, Wheat and belgian yeast dominate with the hint of banana.

Bottle 341ml. Pours blond/greenish with no head to speak of. Aroma is of wheat, orange. Taste is of wheat, spices (coriander), yeast?. Some bitterness. Overall: bad. I wonder why they brew that.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2012 Goût d’orange et de blé. Bière décevante, la moins intéressante que j’aie bue de cette brasserie. Semblable à la Blanche de Chambly.

Bottle - 341ml. Hazy golden body with an instantly fading white bubbly head. Fresh malty/hoppy aroma with coriander, yeasty, and citrusy hints. Taste carries strong grainy and coriander notes. It ends with a sharp hoppy/grainy finish. Not bad.

App.: Cloudy dirty blond with a so-so white head. Aroma: Earthy, soapy coriander, a big hit of toasted wheat, smells thin and watery, kinda nasty. Palate: Medium body, fairly restrained effervescence. Flav.: More soapy, earthy coriander, raw and toasted wheats, maybe a some faint esters and kinda perfumed; dry with minimal bitterness and a nasty, watery, abrupt finish that is soapy, lemony and gross.

Fail. I could do better with extract and a pot on the stove.

Bouteille 341 ml. Couleur jaune pâle, voilée. Mousse blanche. Arôme d’agrume et elvures...en bouche agrumes léger et levure légère....pas une grosse blanche...se boit très bien. Bonne.

Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light coriander notes with some wheat cereal notes. Taste is also dominated by some medium coriander notes with some wheat malt and light dry orange peel notes. Body is a bit light with medium carbonation. Definitely not the best beers from this brewery with not enough wheat malt presence.
