A Medium Dry Sparkling Cider - Dunkerton's Cider Mill is set in the ancient parish of Pembridge, an area of farmland, woods and hedgerows, where medieval half timbered villages meet the stone market towns of Wales. From the earliest times, rural communities have told stories of fantastic and unusual creatures which have supposedly lived in their locality. The lush rolling countryside of North West Herefordshire is no exception. Here stories tell of an animal which has evaded capture by farmer and huntsman alike; a Black Fox. The red fox has always existed, but the belief grew that there was also a fox "as black as night, so that it might live in a man's shadow and so never be seen". A favoured haunt of the BLACK FOX is.........the Cider Orchard.

Pale yellow, no foam and quite carbonated. Apple smell and taste, very sweet. Still not sure if I like these ciders, lemonade with alcohol. (Velp, mei 2012)

2012-12-31. Dark golden amber body, headless. Very musty aroma, sort of earthy, almost earthy mushroomy quality to it. 6+ Flavour is similar, with a very earthy musty quality to the apple profile. similar to other English ciders. The musty touches linger into the finish. Average bodied palate. Decent, wasn’t quite what I was looking for today though. Bottle shared by a friend, my last rating of 2011!

500 ml bottle @ O’Hara’s, Tampere.
Pours a slightly cloudy yellow colour without a head. Looks like a cloudy apple juice. Aroma of strong, real green apples with a hint of barnyard. Flavour of sweet and massively tart green apples with some honey notes. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel and a mouthdrying apple finish. Tasty.

I’m not big cider drinker, but let’s try. This looks like all of them. Smell is nice, bit sweet and I clearly pick aroma of old apple. Taste is really good. Like apple juice, but just a hint more bitter. This is dangerous stuff; I don’t have any difficulties to imaging how I, or someone else, could have few these, think that I did not much of anything and all the sudden be hammered like never before.
