Bottle (from Waitrose). At cellar temp main feature is tannic finish. From the fridge shows more balance with fruit and spice on the nose and the tannin taking a more restrained place in the mouth and is quite drinkable and not overly dry.

Pours hazy pale golden color with no head. Aroma of sour apples, herbal notes, wood and lemon. Flavour of apples, sweetish lemon notes, grass and mild pear notes. Dry and crisp palate. Decent.

Cask@Southampton Arms. Yellowish golden colour, small head. Aroma is tart apples, wood, mild fruits as well. Flavour is quite the same with a quite strong dry acidity to it. Nice and dry.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2010 Bottle from Peckhams. Hazy golden colour, no head. Aroma of medium sweet, medium sour apple. Flavour is fairly sour, some vinegar, wood.
Rerate, bottle from Peckhams. Nose is strong leather, woody. Very dry. This is good stuff. +.4

Bottled. A hazy golden cider. The aroma is sweet apply with a slight acidity. The flavor is acidic with notes of apples and wood, as well as a light note of phenol.

Bottled at RBESG. Hazy golden. Dry and cellary, perfectly still. Sweaty, dusty appleskin flavour. Puckering sour. Interesting, but not really good.

Bottle, train from Edinburgh to Glasgow, RBESG 07. Just woke up when tasting this one, and what a way to wake up! Sharp nose, and initial taste, quite sour. Heavy on the tannins. Rather quenching.
