COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in 750ml bottles.
A delicious still and fragrant blended perry made from genuine organically grown perry pears. Thouh relatively uncommon, the trees are easily identified in the Herefordshire orchard landscape by their great height, some being over 300 years old.
Dunkerton's press varieties including Merrylegs, Red Horse, Moorcroft, Painted Lady and Thorn.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Hazy white yellow color. Sweet moderately acidic aroma with grapefruit and pineapple. Taste of sauvignon blanc with grapefruit. Low tannins. Perhaps some acetic sharpness in finish. Very pleasant to drink. My favourite perry so far.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2010. Silver gold, some fruit, not a great perry, if anything slightly boozy, some decent fruit, but hot too. Not very subtle.

Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival Feb 08 Another one of my Thursday night sneaks. This was a pretty decent Perry and quite interesting to taste alongside the Olivers oak aged whisky Perry, a very pale golden colour with squashed pears on the nose, really quite tasty and a bit punchier than I expected, not quite up there with the Olivers but again this is one thatIi would happily sip again.

750ml bottle (unfiltered and unpasteurised) from Hop Pocket Wine Company. Soft, pale straw colour. Fruit and a touch of farmyard on the nose. Bags of succulent fruit in the flavour, with just enough tannic grip to maintain a traditional feel. Relatively straightforward, but a delicious thirst quencher. And at the end of a hot day working in the garden it was just what I needed.
