Wonderful one with balanced carbo, big apples and some sweetish sourness in the end. Quaffy, easy to drink and with a bit of peach in the end. Classy stuff.

Bottle from my Summer Santa - many thanks to you! The cider pours out in a deep golden colour with smooth body. Wonderful aroma of ripe red apples and some green ones. Taste of ripe, sweet apples, caramel, leaves. Wonderful quaffable and easy to drink. Loved it.

Shared 0,5 l bottle at Cardinal. Clear golden body with a white rim. Mild apple and boiled pears nose with notes of apple cider vinegar. Fruity apples with petroleum and smokey notes in the mouth. Dry tongue. Medium bodied.

Pale straw colour. Dry pears with a lot of complexities in aroma. Fine and complex taste. A bit of rauchbier in aftertaste. Complex and interesting.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2014 330ml bottle as DUNKERTONS ORGANIC CIDER 6.8% from Dunkertons Cider Farm. Pours light yellow, perfectly carbonated. Crisp, fresh with green apple flesh, skins, a ripe fruitiness and slight tannins sucking the tongue. One of the best ciders in Dunkerton’s arsenal. Criminally under-rated.

Slightly hazy apple colour. Slightly bacony aroma, big clean apple too. Slight elastoplast hint in the mouth, wet sheep. Beautifully crisp cider taste, very dry, a touch sweet and spicy. One of the best ciders I’ve had.

500ml bottle. Yellow-orange golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of tart apple, barnyard, funky. Sweetish juicy apple flavour with vanilla, woody, almost smokey, earthy & spicy notes and lots of chalky dry tannin. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, bittersweet dry acidic finish. Nice complexity, very drinkable cider.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. Clear golden with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, apples, sulphur and tart. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. 201013

50cl bottle thanks to Grace. Pours golden with gentle bubbles. The nose and taste have an apple sauce thing going on but what is nice is the way it is intense without being too sweet or too sharp. The palate is great - big body and texture and a long dry finish. A great example of an English country cider.

Visual: pours clear light orange amber with virtually no head and no retention. Some slow streams. Nose: Honeyed apple, light yeast and woody pressed apples. Attack: tangy and tart Mid-palate: very woody red apples, green apple, distinct VANILLA, 6/10-sweetness Finish: mild barnyard sourness, tart crisp finish Good complexity and transitions on this one; I especially like the vanilla flavour.
