Bottle. Light yellow with little head. Aroma and flavour is mostly of apple, some spices and light fruit sweetness. Very enjoyable.

Bottle at home in London, after biking for 40 minutes and running for 30 minutes. Pours clear, bubbly gold with no head. Holds a dusty, slightly dank apple aroma with just hints of sugar. Flavor is medium sweet, rather dry, with some faintly tangy apples speckled with must. Light to medium in body with fizzy, lively carbonation. Semi-dry finish, not too sweet, more musty apples. A very well-rounded cider I would say. I really wouldn’t guess this is over 5% abv. Solid.

bottle. Deep golden colour with a white head. Aroma is apple, spices, yeast. Flavour is apple, spices, yeast, wild yeast. Nice cider.

0.5 l bottle at Vihreä Haltiatar, Jyväskylä. Copper color. Sweet ripe apple aroma with tropical fruits. Sweetish ripe apple flavor with nice ham-smoke finish. Quite astringent moutfeel which pairs well with sweetness and medium to full body. Excellent, one of the best ciders!

Pours a straw-colored sparkling body with a quickly disappearing white top. Smell is very yeasty, with matured apples and hints of sweet white wine. Taste is well-rounded and smooth, with hints of strawberries, powdered sugar and matured apple juice. Perhaps a tad bit too sweet, some sugary notes in the aftertaste is somewhat too evident. Nevertheless, a pretty decent cider.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2010 Bottle. A slightly unclear cider, pale golden in color, and with a small rim of white bubbles on top. The aroma is quite lovley, with lots of overripe apples, orchard and some manure-like rotting hay scents in a pleasant way. It’s tart and medium bodied, quenching and tasteful. Apples dominates the flavor, but there’s a good yeasty funkyness too. Quite astringent towards the end, Some added sulphites pulls down the score a bit, as it’s too detectable in the end. But overall, a nice companion with my rye bread and cheese. 100701

500 ml bottle, bought at Vinmonopolet, Norway. Organic, medium sweet sparkling cider. ABV is 6.8%. Golden colour, pours very fizzy with a big but short-lived head. Slightly hazy at the end. Very nice aroma and flavour of oxidised cider apples, hints of sulphur. The flavour is first moderately sweet, but ends dry and slightly tart. A decent and drinkable cider!

500 ml bottle. Hazy golden colour. Small off-white head. Soft fruity aroma with notes of apricots, rhubarb and apples. Citrus can also be detected. Subtle appley flavours with a light bitter edge. Not unlike unripe banans. Carbonation is somewhat high, especially since the cider is focused towards the subtle characters of apples. Quite nice, but feels a little unbalanced because of the carbonation and the rather high alcohol content.

Bottle from Waitrose. Slightly hazy gold in colour with moderate carbonation. Aroma of slightly tart apple juice, honey and a hint of the barnyard. Flavour began with dry, tannic juice flavours before sweetness became prominent in the finish. Good.
