Cask (gravity dispense) at St Albans Beer Festival, September 2006. Mid brown colour. Distinctly resinous, chalky hop aroma with some underlying doughy malt. The same elements continue onto the palate. Light bitterness in the finish. The malty elements feel a little undeveloped and stodgy, undermining the tangy hoppiness. Condition could have been better.
