An interesting beer, it pours with a small white head and a cloudy yellow coloring. The flavor is initially acidic with a bitter finish. I enjoyed the citric flavoring which masks the 9.5% ABV very well.

mild horse nose comes from the dark murky straw body which holds one hell of a huge white head on the pour i got. bitter finish cleans up the tart start which yeilds to a grainy flavor and light alcohol notes.

Vintage 2001: firm frothy head. Hoppy, citric aroma and flavor. Pinetree. You really can't notice the alcohol. Long hopbitter citric finish. Medium bodied and a good lacing. A delicious high quality beer.

I described this one as "sunshine clear", don't ask. Has a decent head. Smells like rotten wheat.

A murky yellow lake bottom color to it. A minimal dusting of white head. Smells like seasoned pork chops on the grill. Tastes like yeasty bananas with a bitter bitter end to it.

This is a really tough one to read. On the aroma I had that burst of what might be called "cheesiness" that others describe, but at the same time, I couldn't help but wondering...is this skunked? I would have a hard time believing that. Nice pour, big white head, creamy, reflected in the palate, which was excellent of creaminess and zestiness. The flavor was better than the aroma, containing hints of spice, fruit, and yeast. Good beer, but somewhat disconcerting.

Pours a bright and cloudy yellow in color, nice creamy frothy white lasting head. Flowery, grassy spicy and fruity aromas, fruity, yeasty spicy and slightly sour wheat flavors. Medium boby, smooth and silky mouthfeel with some bitterness, finishes, crisp and dry with alcohol in the aftertaste, great for the style.

Cloudy pale yellow out of the bottle with frothy white head and a sharp sour nose. Lots of spicyness to this beer with coriander, clove and the flavor profile I associate with a belgian wit. Clean and crisp and easy drinking for 9.5%.
