COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bons Vux (Good Wishes) is a blond high fermentation beer , re-fermented in the bottle. Founded in 1970 , this beer was offered earlier this year to the most loyal customers of our brewery ( hence the name "With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont "). The success this beer earned lead to it being made commercially, while retaining its original name. Although very popular, it was brewed in limited quantities, the bottles reserved many months in advance. A coppery blond beer with aromas of hops for the Bon Voeux is a beer tasting combining mellow bitterness and fruity. Our selection of yeasts and a long maturation phase with hopping gives it flavor and a characteristic and complex taste. The true fermentation in the bottle , which can be extended very long in your cellar, resulting in a balanced and harmonious beer, surprising and complex aromas .

Hazy, golden colored beer with a one finger high, white, head. Nose: Green apple, Belgian yeast, banana, vinegar, citrus, orange, pear and herbs. Taste: Fresh, complex taste of apples, pears, banana, citrus, hops, marzipan, white bread, melon and coriander. Body: Full body with high carbonation. Beatiful, balanced, bitterness. Dry earthy ending. This is great Saison, one of the best Ive had!

A hazy dull orange color with tons of fluffy white head. Smells of funky barnyard, perm, some citrus, apple, pineapples, a little floral, vinegar. Taste is a funky spicy flavor up front with sweet fruit, vanilla that gives way to some spicy hop flavors to finish. Plenty of carbonation, bubbly on the tongue. Alcohol well hidden. Well done and labeled a triple on here even though it says saison on the bottle. I'd agree with that, and say it's my favorite triple thus far. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2013 bottle. Semi-clear golden with a massive white foam, dissipates slowly leaving lots of lacings. Complex and refreshing aroma of honey, herbs, spices, citrus, elder-flower, a slight funkiness with floral notes. Taste is wonderfully balanced, great malty backbone of honey and bread combined with the most refreshing hops, melon vibes, green apples, giving a slight bitter, rustic character. Despite its rich character there is a great smoothness and crispiness to it. Alcohol is no where to be detected. Medium to big body, low carbo. I think these bottles should be saved a year, that way they get a bit calmed down and the result is about as good as it gets. Just stunned by this.

Bottle. Nose is alkali, slight cheese, slightly floral , funk, slight melon, belgian yeast, honey, slight emerging citrus. Taste is funky, yeast, dough, honey, grass, hay, floral hops, candy sugar, slight strawberry. On the next sip there is more of the soured notes, of green apple, berry emerging. The next sip brings through more of the dough melon and honey. A very delicious beer which is much more of a super charged saison for me, while exceptionally balanced and very smooth, it retains the tastes and notes of the farm yard and orchard. Delicious.

Pale, rich golden with visible carbonation and a sticky looking ringed head. Nose is chalky and creamy melon, treacley and minerals. Initial taste is bright sweaty melon, washed coins and couples itself nicely into a sweetness that rings out as the beer goes on. Gummy grass, cooled steel and an ivory ping if bitterness as it turns for the home straight. Silky carbonation - arresting up front for the shortest moment and then an enveloping sticky booze cloy. Finish is more of that clean fleshy fruit crunch, sweetness over bitter, with lightly spiced herbs and caramelised onions. Linger is the first real hit of booze, dusky vanilla and scraped banana peel with a brassy tang.
It took a wee while to settle into this, perhaps a degree or two cooler than ideal, but really sung with the herby sweetness and uncluttered mouthfeel for such an ABV. A real on real fencer for style with uncompromising substance.

8.7.2014. Hazy orange with plenty of yeastsediments. Aroma also has significant yeast and spices and malts, citrus, wheat. Taste is quite interesting. It is spicy with yeast, somehow sour but also sweetish. It also has orange and quite some fruits. Mouthfeel is creamy and carbonation is soft although there is plenty of it. Complex yet easy to drink.

Bionda leggermente velata con una schiuma fresca e poco persistente. Particolare aroma, lievito in evidenza. Sapore leggermente acido. Triple con alcol molto ben strutturato.

Bottle from Total Wine. 2012. Opened at home with a chalice. Pours a hazy yellow deep gold with significant head. Nice lacing. Aroma is nice fruits...lemon, orange, coriander, white pepper, biscuit, herbs. Taste is similar with the fruits up front and then the herbs and spices. Lively carbonation, dry finish. Love the Belgium yeasts and the full flavors of a true saison. Light body, grassy ending.
