corked bottle from liquor loft. hazy gold color. thick pillowy white head with lacing. fruit, spice, floral, yeast in the smell. candy citrus up front then quickly bitter hops. tastes salty. fairly carbonated. I don’t know how much of this I could drink, but it’s interesting. K-7

07/06 0.75 l bottle from belgianshop.com, 2007. vintage. Poured golden body with medium white head. Pretty nice aroma, as one could expect, banana yeasty with orange and some herbal spices. Flavor is much fuller in body than other saison I recently tried, but still not quite good, very bitter with nothing too much really there. Alcohol is felt, but not too much and it’s dangerously drinkable. Bitter-sourish finish. Fine beer, but I’m not impressed again and I was very generous at rates.

Bottled(750ml). -Courtesy of heavy (huge thanks!!!), shared with him and Doggythedog.
Nice murky orange coloured, huge white head, spicy yeasty nose. The taste is very fruity, yeasty and spicy with strong alcohol presence. Cidery like finish with long-lasting sweet apple notes in the aftertaste.

botle 2007:pours a great looking white big foamy head that is thick and stays along for the ride. som esoapy lacing, this sits atop a cloudy hay golden colour with the tiniest bubbles that are barley seen. aroma is wondeful full of belgian yeast and spices, a good amount of wheat malt with good clove and touches of banana fruit. some floral honey plays through the nose also, a slight tart sour comes in at the end and completes this great aroma. the paplte is som creamy and smooth and flows very well. the flavour is full of rich belgian yeast, plenty of spices and plenty of wheat malt. soem slight sourness come out and the finishes is honey and barn hay, that dries out nicely on the back of the palate. great saison.

0.75l bottle (2006) courtesy of heavy (thanks!), shared with him and ogivlado
Poured a murky apricot body with nice, lively carbonation and a great, huge thick white snowy head that went away slowly. The nose is pleasant, dominated by a nice Belgian spice and malt, with some lacticity and honey. Just a bit sourish. Taste? Damn nice... warming alcohol, apple, malt... general fruitiness, very spicey... lovely yeasty funkiness, somewhat chalky sweetness. As tasty as I expected it to be but it isn’t one of the top 10 beers that I’ve had.

(Bottle, 375 ml) dark blonde coulour with a mediumsized and fomy head that has a kind of off-white colour. It has a fruity aroma and a rich palate with a subtile bitter aftertaste and hints of dough. This is one to cherish.

Bottle: pours a cloudy orangish color with a frothy white head, strong citrus aroma with some spices, taste is spicy, dry, thin mouthfeel with a slight bitterness in the back of the throat. Very nice.
