Intense floral aroma of yeast, light fruits, and aromatic hops. Has a good deal of funk, but that only serves to complement the other flavors. has a great spicy funky, bready quality to it. Very smooth. Nice finish, An excellent farmhouse ale. robinvboyer (1426), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada

cloudy golden color, nice big head that dissipats quickly, but leaves a wonderful lacing. Very aromatic, skunky, and sour, with touches of lemon, and pepper. Flavour is smooth, and almost a touch lambic like with the sourness. Wow, this is a great saison, easily the best of it’s style. BOLTZ7555 (1073), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 6, 2008 Aroma of skunk is a bit disappointing but the pour is intense gold with a small white head. Flavor is more robust than expected; citrus, herb, and bread. Not overly thick on the palate. A good beer but not deserving of the rating. elmatador00 (518), j-action-ville, North Carolina, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 6, 2008 Thanks to Mcbackus. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is mostly funk smell, and citrus. Tastes of bitter citrus fruit, earth, little pepper, floral, and a bit of hop presence. Finishes bubbly like a glass of champagne. A tart dry aftertaste followed. jeremytoni (1089), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 4, 2008 750 ml corked and caged bottle decants a radiant golden body with an immense vanilla head. Head slowly falls into a beautiful meringue with sticky lacing sheeting the goblet. Quite the looker! Aroma of freshly sliced lemons and floral/herbal hops. Medium body with velvety carbonation. Taste is pleasantly complex. Dry and herbal, with notes of citrusy lemon, melon, white pepper, and herbal hops. Not the best saison I’ve tried but certainly very well done. The nose is very minimal and has a slightly spicy citrus taste. The taste is a bit dusty and flat. There is a slight yeasty flavor and a strong grapefruit flavor as well. The palate is very dry and the finish is quick. alexsdad06 (1079), Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Draught @ the Dilly Deli. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a good sized white head that sticks to the glass. The aroma is candied malts, orange peel, belgian yeast, and corriander. The flavor is citrus, yeasty bread, sweet malt, dry finish. The 9.5 % is well hidden compared to the Scaldis I had just before. This is very drinkable whch is a bit disturbing considering the abv.
