COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bons Vœux (Good Wishes) is a blond high fermentation beer , re-fermented in the bottle. Founded in 1970 , this beer was offered earlier this year to the most loyal customers of our brewery ( hence the name "With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont "). The success this beer earned lead to it being made commercially, while retaining its original name. Although very popular, it was brewed in limited quantities, the bottles reserved many months in advance. A coppery blond beer with aromas of hops for the Bon Voeux is a beer tasting combining mellow bitterness and fruity. Our selection of yeasts and a long maturation phase with hopping gives it flavor and a characteristic and complex taste. The true fermentation in the bottle , which can be extended very long in your cellar, resulting in a balanced and harmonious beer, surprising and complex aromas .

Fruity aroma, with peaches being the dominant note. A little bit of spices. Also smells kinda like champagne. Pale, hazy, with persistent white head. Tastes great, with very well balanced bitterness and sweetness. Flavor is mostly fruity, mainly with peaches and grapes. Spicey in the aftertaste with mostly pepper and some cloves. Very good, especially for its price.

Alaranjada, média turbidez, espuma amarelada de boa formação e persistência irregular. Aroma alaranjado, fermento, leve acidez e dulçor, convidativa. Paladar de dulçor médio, leve acidez, quase sem amargor. Corpo médio e alta carbonatação. Final citrico alaranjado, fruta amarela madura, doce, viva no paladar, excepcional.

Aroma of citrus, stone fruit and yellow fruit on the basis of massive phenolic spicy flavors from the yeast. Very clear pale yellow color which becomes hazy as the yeast on the bottom of the bottle unavoidably gets into the glass. Less carbonated than its champagne cap makes me imagine. Very attenuated and dry but in a really pleasant way. The high alcohol percentage is properly hidden. Ladies and gentlemen, this IS the tripel. It should be studied at school.

Gialla chiara, velata, schiuma abbondante e cremosa. Odore fruttato, pesca, caramellato, luppolo erbaceo, leggero vinoso. Molto frizzante in bocca, sapore dolce, leggero caramello, erbaceo, molto secco nel finale. Bell’equilibrio tra i sapori. Ottima tripel.

750ml bottle. 8/12/14 bottle date. Appearance: Light copper and slightly hazy, with a thick white head that lingers with nice lacing. Aroma: Earthy, grassy, peppery, citrus rind, and a white vinous character. Prototypical saison yeast characteristics with some bready malt undertones. Taste: High malt sweetness with clove and pear. Just a hint of spice and a moderate bitterness. Taste profile is very much like a tripel. Mouthfeel: Light/medium body with high carbonation and some alcohol warmth. Finish: Frutiness (pear) remains with some light breadiness. Overall: Feels like I’m drinking two different beers. The aroma is very much a saison, with spicy, peppery, earthy notes. When you taste the beer a lot of those characteristics disappear and a tripel emerges, with pear and clove prominent. Doesn’t have the typical pepper and dryness of a saison. Overall a very good beer.....whatever it is

Pours copper/golden color, slightly haze with stable creamy white head. Viully medium to high carbonation. Aroma: pevails hop aroma, with fruity notes like peaches, melon, grape, supported with malt aroma, with notes of biscuit... Flavor is similar as aroma: intense hop flavors, with fruity esters, which takes on grape, peaches, grapefruit, melon, apple...malt flavors are in second plan, but still very well balanced with hop bitterness. Malt flavors takes on biscuit, with hint of candy sugar; malt sweetness is moderate medium, hop bitterness medium and lingers thorough finish into aftertaste. Alcohol warmth is noticeable, but gentle and discrete. Body is moderate medium, texture is soft, carbonation medium. Abbey tripel with character of saison.
