COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bons Vœux (Good Wishes) is a blond high fermentation beer , re-fermented in the bottle. Founded in 1970 , this beer was offered earlier this year to the most loyal customers of our brewery ( hence the name "With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont "). The success this beer earned lead to it being made commercially, while retaining its original name. Although very popular, it was brewed in limited quantities, the bottles reserved many months in advance. A coppery blond beer with aromas of hops for the Bon Voeux is a beer tasting combining mellow bitterness and fruity. Our selection of yeasts and a long maturation phase with hopping gives it flavor and a characteristic and complex taste. The true fermentation in the bottle , which can be extended very long in your cellar, resulting in a balanced and harmonious beer, surprising and complex aromas .

Shared bottle. Pours is clear golden with big foamy white head. Aroma of malts, cheesy yeast, spices, fruity and floral notes, bread and toast. Taste is light bitter, light sweet, solid malty base, lot of yeast on tongue. Heavy body, oily to creamy texture, lively carbonation, dry, bitter finish, well hidden alcohol.

375 bottle at home.
App: Slight hazy golden with a two finger soapy bubbly white head.
Aroma: Oranges, apples and banana with spritzy carbonation and spicy saison yeast with some doughy bread and honey.
Taste: Similar fruits in the flavour but with more bready/hayish malts and spicy peppery yeast with a white pepper dry and slight alcohol warming finish.
Palate: Bigger body with spritzy carbonation and oily texture. A bit spicy and and boozy aggressive.
Overall: Very good. But also surprisingly spicy, dry and sharp finish.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Sola. Pours clear glowing golden with a very big creamy white head. Good interesting and complex aroma, lemons, yeast, weak acidic friuits and berries. Slick mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Taste is light sweet, grapes and some marzipan, also providing some bitterness together with the alcohol, moderate warming long finish.

375ml bottle. Clear golden with two finger fluffy white head. Yeasty aroma with fruity and flowery notes as well as citrus, banana and alcohol. Taste has a soft flowery bitterness as well as sweeter yeasty notes with citrus, apricot, banana, more general fruitiness and noticeable alcohol. Medium mouthfeel, low but prickly carbonation and a warming finnish with yeastiness and moderate bitterness.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2015 Hazy blonde beer with a sizeable white head. Nose is mainly yeast, weaker notes of cake and caramel. Yeasty and fruity taste at first, phenollic and alcoholic finish. Creamy, sparkly body like that of a wheat beer.

Draft pour to a schooner at Elliott bay pizza. Pours a clear bright golden color with a thin fizz head. Champagne yeast like aroma with a soft apple. Flavor is a bright apple throughout, with a constant Belgian yeast, soft banana and citrus, and a semi dry finish. Enjoy the dominant apple for sure. Pretty good.

Flaska från SB. Disig orange med vitt fingerhögt skum. Kryddig doft med saisonjäst, söt banan och pilsner. Stor och fyllig kropp. Smaken nära doften. Bra beska, alkoholen märkbar. Trevlig!

Tap at the Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Poured a murky straw colour with a frothy white head and lots of clingy lace. The aroma is yeast, some citrus, light toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth yeast, alcohol bitter palate. The alcohol and yeast are dominating this beer and the aftertaste is not pleasant. I really don’t get the high ratings here. It’s an average tripel, nothing more.
