Bons Vœux (Good Wishes) is a blond high fermentation beer , re-fermented in the bottle. Founded in 1970 , this beer was offered earlier this year to the most loyal customers of our brewery ( hence the name "With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont "). The success this beer earned lead to it being made commercially, while retaining its original name. Although very popular, it was brewed in limited quantities, the bottles reserved many months in advance. A coppery blond beer with aromas of hops for the Bon Voeux is a beer tasting combining mellow bitterness and fruity. Our selection of yeasts and a long maturation phase with hopping gives it flavor and a characteristic and complex taste. The true fermentation in the bottle , which can be extended very long in your cellar, resulting in a balanced and harmonious beer, surprising and complex aromas .

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2012 Gold color, white head. Aroma is funk, light fruits (pear and apricot). Floral. Dry finish. Nice carb, medium body. Gentle alcohol apparent in finish. Had been looking forward to this for awhile. Didn’t rock me the way I was expecting, but definitely quite nice. Would be perfect for dinner parties this holiday season. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Golden, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate malty – some wheat and lightly sweetish - sweetish aroma, light caramel and fruitiness with faint citrus and spiciness (coriander), light hoppyness and alcohol. Body is medium, malty – lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish flavor, faint caramel and light fruitiness with faint citrus, light spiciness and hoppynes, light - some alcohol. Finish is average, malty -lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish, faint fruitiness and citrus, light hoppyness, some alcohol. Way too much alcohol considering the body.

0.375 l bottle from Drankenservice Francoise, bottled in september 2014 (almost a year old). Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Weak, fruity-yeasty aroma of peach, citrus and straw. Slightly bitter, fruity-yeasty taste of peach, citrus and straw, followed by a medium long, rather bitter, slightly peppery and earthy finish with notes of grapefruit. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. I expected way more than such an ordinary, almost tasteless and quite bitter beer. Still enjoyable but maybe I need to try a fresh example of this. Tegenvaller!
