COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bons Vœux (Good Wishes) is a blond high fermentation beer , re-fermented in the bottle. Founded in 1970 , this beer was offered earlier this year to the most loyal customers of our brewery ( hence the name "With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont "). The success this beer earned lead to it being made commercially, while retaining its original name. Although very popular, it was brewed in limited quantities, the bottles reserved many months in advance. A coppery blond beer with aromas of hops for the Bon Voeux is a beer tasting combining mellow bitterness and fruity. Our selection of yeasts and a long maturation phase with hopping gives it flavor and a characteristic and complex taste. The true fermentation in the bottle , which can be extended very long in your cellar, resulting in a balanced and harmonious beer, surprising and complex aromas .

Quest tap in O’Connors, Uppsala. Pours hazy amber with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is very fruity and spicy, especially fresh apple and citrus feature. Taste is crisp, spicy and fruity; classic Belgian farmhouse theme with a perfect balance between different elements. Medium body, average carbonation. This is surprisingly strong for a saison but alcohol is skillfully hidden. Overall an excellent ale, both rich and balanced.

Great saison. Stinky. Brewed like a tripel. Great beer for Christmas. You can share it if you want. I didn’t.

(Dupont Avec les Bons Voeux) Bottle 375 ml, corked and caged, thanks to ElManana! Served into a tulip, ABV 9.5% Pours a bright golden yellow beer, only a tad hazy with lazy activity in the glass. Tall white head sitting on top, with very good retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass. Aroma is light yeasty, perfume, fruity and floral notes. Nice fruity taste too, some sugar, alcohol is notable, wood, apricots. Medium body with good carbonation. Very good, nice and quite complex.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange golden with big thick white head, some sediment from the yeast. Aroma is canned pears! Sweet breadth wheat, clove, subtle bubblegum and fruity esters and Belgian yeast. Taste is dangerously light and crisp carbonation with a nice creamy full body. Wheat and some lemon. Only a slight hint of booze in finish along with some spices. One of my favorites!

375ml 2014 years vintage green corked and caged bottle, poured into a Tulip glass. Appearance is cloudy orange with a large beige frothy head , that settled fast leaving some lacing. Aroma of lemon zest, orange peels, grass, herbs and spices. Flavours of lemon zest, herbs, spices and bread. Taste is medium light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied, smooth texture and lively carbonation. Dupont Avec Les Bons Voeux is a great Abbey Tripel.

Leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit einer ordentlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, hefig, fruchtig, Gewürze. Geschmack kräftig malzig, fruchtig, hefig, würzig, leicht alkoholisch.

Tap. Very light blond with thick froth. Detectable alcohol in aroma, a bit disturbing as it appears also in the taste. Generally smooth, quite drinkable and overall enjoyable but not as great as I expected it to be.
