750 ml bottle: Outstanding rocky white head that lingers. Nice aroma of yeast citrus and a mild spice. Good creamy body and smooth textured mouth feel with a little less crispness than I expected. Better as it warms with a more rounded flavor of lemon and coriander. Nice and dry. No alcohol. Bitter on the end. Delicious.

Aug 9, 2008 [1459-20080531] 750mL bottle. Saison-esque sour old yeast aroma. Hazy, light orange grey body with a foamy medium-lasting off-white head. Sweet and yeasty spice flavour has a sour finish. Medium body. Lovely composition.

Aug 9, 2008 This beers reminds me of a summer day. Aroma of grass, dry hay, barn, spice. Tastes of hay, pepper, lemon and vanilla. A really great saison.

Aug 6, 2008 I want to have this beer’s babies. I’m currently basking in the glory of $14 bottles of this stuff and life is pretty bloody good. Despite its size there’s nothing too obvious about it, but there’s lemony hops, peppery yeast, vanilla ice cream malt and some gin-like alcohol warmth, though it really is ridiculously easy to drink for its size - I’d say it appears noticeably less boozy than the Moinettes. Very hoppy in an extremely low key way, if that’s possible. Everything it beautifully rounded, everything is in place, and it tastes as good as I recall it from Belgium. Love it. Even better than Saison Dupont.

Jul 31, 2008 750ml bottle from BevMo Carmel Mountain. Pour is a hazy gold with a nice white head. Aroma is spicy and tart with sweet malt, citrus, lemon, pepper, and fruit. Flavors of yeast, citrusy fruit, lemon tart, funk, and alcohol.
