Bons Vœux (Good Wishes) is a blond high fermentation beer , re-fermented in the bottle. Founded in 1970 , this beer was offered earlier this year to the most loyal customers of our brewery ( hence the name "With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont "). The success this beer earned lead to it being made commercially, while retaining its original name. Although very popular, it was brewed in limited quantities, the bottles reserved many months in advance. A coppery blond beer with aromas of hops for the Bon Voeux is a beer tasting combining mellow bitterness and fruity. Our selection of yeasts and a long maturation phase with hopping gives it flavor and a characteristic and complex taste. The true fermentation in the bottle , which can be extended very long in your cellar, resulting in a balanced and harmonious beer, surprising and complex aromas .

Poured darker than I expected with the usual big pillowy saison head, spicy sweet honey nose possibly with a small amount of funk getting in there. Good mouthfeel, alcohol was well hidden under a malty sweet honey body. Surprisingly people who usually dislike more mainstream saisons loved this. I even got told to buy some more by herself. Score! Nice one Dupont.

0.375 l bottle from Drankenservice Francoise, bottled in september 2014 (almost a year old). Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Weak, fruity-yeasty aroma of peach, citrus and straw. Slightly bitter, fruity-yeasty taste of peach, citrus and straw, followed by a medium long, rather bitter, slightly peppery and earthy finish with notes of grapefruit. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. I expected way more than such an ordinary, almost tasteless and quite bitter beer. Still enjoyable but maybe I need to try a fresh example of this. Tegenvaller!

Golden with a big long lasting white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, caramel, butter, spice and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and light acidic, really well balanced. Body is medium, texture is creamy and carbonation is soft.
