COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bons Vœux (Good Wishes) is a blond high fermentation beer , re-fermented in the bottle. Founded in 1970 , this beer was offered earlier this year to the most loyal customers of our brewery ( hence the name "With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont "). The success this beer earned lead to it being made commercially, while retaining its original name. Although very popular, it was brewed in limited quantities, the bottles reserved many months in advance. A coppery blond beer with aromas of hops for the Bon Voeux is a beer tasting combining mellow bitterness and fruity. Our selection of yeasts and a long maturation phase with hopping gives it flavor and a characteristic and complex taste. The true fermentation in the bottle , which can be extended very long in your cellar, resulting in a balanced and harmonious beer, surprising and complex aromas .

MBison (548) - Southern Highlands, - MAY 4, 2009
Bottle (750ml) Cellared for 1 year. Poured golden straw with a slight haze and a large, thick, frothy, off-white head which lasted superbly. Aroma was of sweet bread with candy sugar, apples, creamy pears, lemon zest, vanilla, cinnamon and coriander. Flavor was a moderate spicy hop bitterness with strong notes of pepper, bready malts, crisp green apples, dried pineapple, lemon citrus, cinnamon, coriander, light notes of cloves and a spicy warming finish. Medium to full bodied with lively carbonation, a dry mouthfeel, syrupy texture (mild) and a good length finish.

PapaVillum (382) - Valby, DENMARK - JUN 30, 2014
75 cl, flaske, 9,5 % ABV, købt hos Søren i Den Belgiske Ølbutik i Vanløse, 30. juni 2014.

Saeglopur (251) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - JUN 29, 2014
0.75 l bottle from 2012. Amber, hazy body, with a massive, frothy, white head, that leaves a lot of lacing. Aroma of yeast, ester, banana, sour apple, lemongrass, spices, some creamy vanilla. Taste is dry, bitter and sour, with the same aromas. Mouthfeel is medium to full, creamy, with a lively carbonation and it finishes dry, bitter, sour-fruity, yeasty and alcohol warming. Very good! Complex, heavy, but still quaffable and refreshing. The balance between all those different dry, bitter, sour and sweet notes is pretty good!

Bottle shared by my brother. Clear, but chunky amber color with a thick off-white head. Aroma of skunk, malt and Belgian esters. Sweet malt flavor with slight banana esters before a boozy and slightly bitter finish.

Ottimo esempio di Tripel. L’aroma è inebriante. In bocca si percepisce da subito un netto maltato e un forte sentore alcolico, per poi lasciar spazio ad un buon amaro dissetante. Accompagna cene importanti. Da non perdere!

Love. Amazing on draft. Got the end of the keg, so a bit yeasty, but still delicious. Would love to find one of these bottles and cellar it for awhile. - pixels sent via Beer Buddy on iOS

Pale, golden-yellow color, with a decent head, which leaves a fine, long staying lacing. Aromas are of an interesting melange, containing wheat, straw, yeast and tart Brettanomyces, also hints of pepper, spices and lemon zest are recognizable. Taste reveals an unbelievable smooth mouthfeel, due to a huge amount of Belgian yeast, which puts a pillow on the palate. On top of that, warm stingy spices amongst black pepper build up a fascinating complexity, which results in a medium dry finish, with subtle vanilla notes. Very easy to drink, alcohol is present at no point at all, very intriguing, well balanced beer. Bretts among metallic, lively carbonation are responsible for a supporting sour- and dryness, which underlines the slick. spicy yeast impression just perfect. As I am drinking a young bottle, bretts are recognizable only for a short period of time, mingled together with copper flavor. When those leave the palate, dough malts and supersmooth mouthfeel do become even more present.
