Bons Vœux (Good Wishes) is a blond high fermentation beer , re-fermented in the bottle. Founded in 1970 , this beer was offered earlier this year to the most loyal customers of our brewery ( hence the name "With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont "). The success this beer earned lead to it being made commercially, while retaining its original name. Although very popular, it was brewed in limited quantities, the bottles reserved many months in advance. A coppery blond beer with aromas of hops for the Bon Voeux is a beer tasting combining mellow bitterness and fruity. Our selection of yeasts and a long maturation phase with hopping gives it flavor and a characteristic and complex taste. The true fermentation in the bottle , which can be extended very long in your cellar, resulting in a balanced and harmonious beer, surprising and complex aromas .

750 ML corked and caged Clear orange straw color, bright white head. Lovely retention to it. Nose is malt. Apple and pear. Sift and subtle. Taste is also subtle red apple and pear. Little bit of candy cane. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Pretty simple beer but very well made. Flavors linger a long time.

Bottle 37.5 cl from Barleywine in Copenhagen. Cloudy orange with a slightly frothy white head. Funky, apples, slight tartness. Orange peel, some bitterness, some light maltyness. Medium body, medium carbonation, bitter finish. Quite a lot of components that I cannot identify.

Funky cellar like tartness, red apples. Taste is malty and more sweet than tart. Although lots of maltiness it is not overly sweet due to good balance with the sweetness.

9/2/14. 750 ml bottle. Pours hazy orange (rolled before opening). Nice light Belgian funk nose with some biscuit and fruit. Tight champagne like carbonation. Nice light sharpness to the finish but only a hint of hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bonne longueur.

Bottle @ home 20140814. Clear golden, fluffy white head with insane head retention for the abv. Aroma is spicy and peppery, with notes of banana and figs. Taste is similar, with a complex fruitiness that goes very well with the rounded body. A nice hop bite. Mouthfeel is very smooth, almost creamy. Very very refreshing, not often I feel that about a beer this strong. Wow.

Appearance- orangey golden. Hazy. Plenty of lumps of yeast come out with the pour. One finger pure brilliant white head. Aroma is full- yeasty, candied fruits, lots of spices, banana, bready malt. Taste- starts with sweetness, juicy fruit, especially orange. Raisin, hint of banana, malt backbone, bitterness comes through in a long finish. Sweetness, spice and bitterness all come together very nicely. Quite a full mouthfeel with the perfect amount of carbonation. Really good.
