Bons Vœux (Good Wishes) is a blond high fermentation beer , re-fermented in the bottle. Founded in 1970 , this beer was offered earlier this year to the most loyal customers of our brewery ( hence the name "With the best wishes of the brewery Dupont "). The success this beer earned lead to it being made commercially, while retaining its original name. Although very popular, it was brewed in limited quantities, the bottles reserved many months in advance. A coppery blond beer with aromas of hops for the Bon Voeux is a beer tasting combining mellow bitterness and fruity. Our selection of yeasts and a long maturation phase with hopping gives it flavor and a characteristic and complex taste. The true fermentation in the bottle , which can be extended very long in your cellar, resulting in a balanced and harmonious beer, surprising and complex aromas .

First of all, I think this bottle was infected or something. Would not stop gushing foam for several minutes, will rate again if the next bottle is different. Aroma definitely hinted that something was happening to the yeast, and flavor was way too sour for what this was supposed to be. Again, will re-rate with a different bottle.

Hazy light copper body, medium lasting head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, yellow fruits, spicies, black peper, alcohol. Flavours starts floral, then belgian yeast, black pepper, spicies, fruits, bisctuit, alcohol, verry complex. The bitter backbone is felt. Long warm floral, sweet finish, ends dry and slightly tart. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(1777-200316)

Mooie uitgebalanceerde tripel. Geel troebel bier. Geuren van mout, gist. Smaken van mout, gist, kruiden, lichte citrustonen, prettige licht bittere nasmaak. Mooie tripel!

Clear golden body with quite large white head that laces the glass excellently before ending up as a fully covering film. Sweet and strong aroma of Belgian yeast, sweet fruits and spices, with a touch of vanilla in the back. Strong flavour of Belgian yeast, fruits, spices (including black pepper), with fainter notes of alcohol and vanilla. Moderate sweet taste with a long-lasting moderate bitter finish. Close to full body, almost syrupy texture, moderate carbonation, but it nevertheless dries up a bit in the aftertaste. A wonderful tripel!

A solid tripel. Not unlike Tripel Karmeliet or Allagash. Lot of body, no real funk, very drinkable.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2016 Bottle at eleszto importer. Hazy yellow colour with a medium white head. Nose is fresh, hay like saisony sourness. Taste is medium bitterness with very low sourness present. Mouthfeel a little bit sticky. Nice, but the nose suggested dryer and sourer beer.
