"Les Bons Voeux" means best wishes, which is what Brasserie Dupont sends with this very special saison ale brewed only for the holidays. Redolently aromatic, rich and velvety, this is an ale to toast the season and welcome in the New Year!

First of all, I think this bottle was infected or something. Would not stop gushing foam for several minutes, will rate again if the next bottle is different. Aroma definitely hinted that something was happening to the yeast, and flavor was way too sour for what this was supposed to be. Again, will re-rate with a different bottle.

Bottle @ home.

Feeling this more as a tripel than a saison. Absolutely marvelous beer. I know little. Drunk with Brian so I was.

(tap) Golden-orange-yellow colour with a very persistent foamy white head. Looks very appealing. Yeasty-spicy aroma. Herbal notes, some bubblegum, and (unfortunately), some alcohol. Light to medium sweetness, light bitterness. Full-bodied, smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Very good, though in terms of aroma I probably prefer the regular Saison Dupont.

Bomber (from notes). Split this at a new years party. Solid saison that held up well with all the food we were eating.

Yellow orange color with huge, huge white head. Aroma of white wine, yeast, lemon zest, camomile, honey, vanilla. Taste is light sweet a bit tart and quite dry at the end. Light to medium body, oily slick texture, lively carbonation. Champagne-like

Color: nice hazy blond beer with small carbonization and medium white head. Smell : floral, grass and some acid presence, the nose is really pleasant. Taste: strong malt taste really amazing with a good equilibrium with floral and grass taste. Really amazing beer! Aftertaste: nice bitterness not so strong and grass presence.

750ml bottle served in a Triple Karmeliet tulip glass. A - Pours a cloudy orange with an impressive white head that shows excellent retention. S - Pilsner malt, lemon, wet hay, spice, coriander, apple, peach, bubblegum, taffy, alcohol, tart grassy hops. T - Follows the nose, spicy yeast, coriander, apricot, peach, apples, bubblegum, taffy, lemon cuts through the sweet stone fruit, a very mild grassy tartness plays on the back of the throat, pilsner malt keeps the base. Finishes spicy. M - Medium body, moderate carbonation, fruity semi-dry finish. Big pilsner malt base, with loads of fruity yeast esters. Hops are grassy and mild, finishes peppery and semi-dry. Very good overall. Pretty high ABV for the style but drinks good. Serving type: bottle 03-31-2012
