Biere de Miel is bottle conditioned and contains only water, barley and wheat, honey, hops and yeast. It has a marvelously delicate scent of honey, balnaced by a dry palate, resulting in a beer that is both estery and refreshing.

Disclaimer: Both the normal and the organic (biologique) version.

Bottle share at Leighton’s, thanks to Leighton. Dirty orange, hazy, lightly sparkling, huge foamy white head, light lacing. Aroma is booze, spicy and bready, quite a lot of white pepper. Body is medium, foamy, low carbonation. Taste is dry, tangy, honey, coriander seed, musty spice, pale breads. Interesting, quite nice.

Bottle shared at Leightons place. Thanks to Leighton for this one. Hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a lasting sticky white head. Aroma is big Belgian yeast, little clove, bit of sweet honey, smokey, earthy straw. Flavour is composed of light grains, honey, big Belgian yeast esters, straw, Palate is nice airy carbonation, Lingering citrus and a funky saison yeast. Really good stuff.

Bottle shared in London - picked up from BeerMerchants. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy white head. Massive Belgian yeast nose, big wheat bread, some hay. Medium sweet flavor with rich bready wheat, light alcohol, yeast, lemon, white grape. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and velvety texture. Lightly warming finish, more bready wheat, yeast, ripening citrus fruits. Quite solid overall.

750ml bottle. Great appearance of cloudy golden colour with huge white foam. Strong floral aromas, yeast and honey. Taste is very refreshing, lots of yeast, honey, hops, citrus fruits. High carbonation, medium body. Absolutely fantastic, one of the best beers you’ll drink in your life!

250ml brown bottle. Golden, cloudy, yeast specks and floaties. Holds a small thin white head that leaves no lacing. Aromas of honey, orange and lemon, floral. Taste - grains, yeast/spice, orange. Yeasty finish with dryness, light hops. Good carbonation. Tasty, enjoyed way more than expected but this small bottle is ridiculous.

Unclear golden beer with a small white head, little carbonation. Tastes like honey, yeast, hops, barley, wheat and bubblegum. Not too sweet, long aftertaste.

Very remarkable beer with a strong aroma of yeast, hops and honey. It has a refreshing taste and a dry hoppy aftertaste.

Crystal clear(if you don’t add the last finger of the bottle), amazing head, dense, medium sized, white, lasting and lacing beautifully. Aroma is amazing, sour tangerine, intense and perfume-like. Honey, spices(clove), flowers all over the place with some light fruity esters. Taste is sweet, spicy hops, the same aroma dominating woderfuly, bubblegum, flowers, light malt. Soft carbonation, medium body. An amazing beer...
