Hazy orange, small firm off-white head. Typical saison-nose: spices, cardboard, wheat. Medium-bodied. Spicey, yeasty, wheaty. No honey found here. Dry hoppy aftertaste. Drinkable saison, but a bit too yeasty to being refreshing summer drink. BierBauch (656), Cape Coral Waterfront Wonderland, Florida, USA

Big peppermit notes in the aroma with herbs, honey and yeast. Light lemon. Medium body and carbonation with a light oily feel in finish. Sweet flavors with notes of honey, yeast, pepper, spices and lightly sour. Overall a nice brew which I enjoyed. BigBastard (668), L.A., California, USA

Low carbonation, very smooth and easy drinking. This was excellent on a hot summer day. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Orange amber colour, vivid fizziness, large white frothy head. Nose of honey, hops and light esters. The taste is surprisingly dry, tarty on the fruity side, with cardboard and light bitterness which lasts into the aftertaste. Solid ’honey’ palate with good carbonation. 25 cl bottle, bbe March 2006. Hazy amber, dozens of tiny pearl necklaces, frothy white head which is not particularly stable (ap: 4) . Pleasant honey aroma with some ’animal’ (meaty) character and presence of hops (aroma: 7). Slightly sweetish and a bit peppery flavour revealing honey, rapidly growing into sharp lemony tartiness (flavour: 6). Medium bodied and spritzy on the palate (palate: 3). Aroma of clove(?), slight huney. The honey taste is mild and hidden. I would have liked a more pronounced flavor. This beer quickly loses flavor on the tastebuds and leaves an odd but not bad aftertaste. The initial taste is sweet but subtle, almost no middle taste at all. A decent beer but not one to buy a case of. Cornfield (4981), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

It’s medium-to-light-bodied with wheat acidity and alcohol dryness. The flavor is heavily spiced malt (although no spices are in this ale), a dash of honey, white peppers, and light fruits. Definitely a repeatable drink.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 23, 2005 A definite floral/sour honey sweetness pervades this beer. Poured a lasting soapy white head over a hazy golden-yellow body, medium mouthfeel. Wheaty malt, honey sweet, yeasty funk, with a dash of bread and pepper, nose has some pear notes as well. Finishes lightly bitter, faint sweet aftertaste. Nice to drink with some fruit, but not as nice as I’d like.
