COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Biere de Miel is bottle conditioned and contains only water, barley and wheat, honey, hops and yeast. It has a marvelously delicate scent of honey, balnaced by a dry palate, resulting in a beer that is both estery and refreshing.

Disclaimer: Both the normal and the organic (biologique) version.

An orange-yellow beer with a big and blond head. The aroma is quite weird combination of dry grain and pollen, honey, and some fruits. Taste has fruits, sweetness of honey, dryness of pollen, some grain. Honey in the background. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Quite strange beer with a unique flavours that I haven’t found before. This isn’t inspirating.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2014 Bottle of 25 cl. I love this beer. She’s not one of the best in her kind, but damn, I love it ! Very nice sweet taste and aroma of honey, got a nice colour, but the palate is soooooo light... That’s her weakness. Cheers !

A very good saison, unique. Pour a bright orange with a bubbly white head. Smells amazing and very different, extremely floral, with rose and sunflower seeds. Also honey, cloves, herbs and sesame, with fennel. Reminds us of a small French village in springtime. Taste is pure saison upfront, with more floral notes and honey in the finish, along with a crisp spiciness. Better then the regular DuPont. Had in the bottle.

Tap @ Moeder Lambic. Slightly hazy golden pour with a firm head. Yeast, estery, honey, grains, sweet with some light orange juice.

750mL corked Champagne bottle Pours a hazy orange gold body with a big white foam. Aroma is decent; honey apparent, providing a flora touch to notes of cereally malts, white pepper, & light fruity esters Medium body, dry, high carbonation, well attenuated a touch of acidity, but less so than most Saisons. Cereally, husky malts upfront on the palate, some bready notes, leading onto light spices, floral honey & ripe pear-like esters. Drying finish. It’s alright, a bit underwhelming.

0,25 flaske hjemme: kort filmskum. Aroma av krydder og litt honningsødme. Smaken gir det samme inntrykket - krydder dominerer over honning, og den har en ganske tørr avslutning. Brusende munnfølelse. Slank og elegant for sin voltstyrke.
