3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 flavio_b (263) - ROME, - MAY 11, 2012Bottled. The honey and malt taste is very noticeable. It has a medium carbonation with a persistent froth. Presence of sedimentation. Dark amber colour. Very good.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Sammy (7031) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 17, 2013
A nice part of the LCBO release. Lasting head on light colored body. A mild honey aroma. The taste features the honey and a significant bitterness. A spot of funkiness. That’s all we got. Decent drinkability.Middling mouthfeel.
3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 hangunder (97) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 15, 2013
Nice rich floral honey notes in the aroma. Hazy yellow, minimal head. Taste isn’t as exciting as the nose seems to predict, sweet belgian yeast upfront, somewhat watery finish with a bit of alcohol and some honey on the finish. No hop bitterness. Mild carbonation. Not too exciting aside from the aroma, which is quite nice.
3.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 gilvanblight (678) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 9, 2013
Hazy yellow pour with very little head. Smells like bread just before you put it in he oven. Damp wet and ready to grow. This is the most un beer like beer I’ve had this entire trip. This is like the unborn beer. Something plucked from the vat before it was ready. It feels like a beer potential, not a full beer.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 cyrenaica (941) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 8, 2013

The beer pours a hazed golden yellow with a thin white ring for a cap. The aroma is yeast, funk, and honey. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grains, honey, and earthy flavours. Not a bad saison.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 shaynsawchuk (164) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 6, 2013
250 mL bottle. Pours a light gold with a clumpy white head and lots of nice lacing. Aromas of honey, fresh cut grass, cereal grain, yeast and spice, banana and clove esters. Dry with only a slight residual honey sweetness, medium bodied with a sticky mouth feel. A nicely balanced hoppy finish here with lots of floral notes, coriander and pepper. Heavily carbonated. More please.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 kevinsenn (550) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 6, 2013
Bottle from LCBO. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is grassy, with sweet malt and honey, and some spice. Taste has lots of honey, sweet grapes, spice, with a dry alcohol finish. Quite "mead-like", and not my favourite.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 liinis (1315) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 6, 2013
First I felt it was too strong but letting this beer breathe a moment it started to smell divine. Honey aroma, strongly malty. Delicious!
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 northropfrye (1347) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 5, 2013
This was fabulous, so much better than most meads I’ve tried. (I realize this isn’t a mead, but a beer flavoured with honey). Yellow body with gorgeous pillowy white head and lost of lacing. Basically this has the aroma, taste and texture of a really good tripel but with a subtle element of honey. I’m glad this wasn’t very sweet. The honey is subdued, which is excellent. Great beer.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Mora2000 (4041) - McKinney, Texas, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma is wheat and honey with some floral notes. Flavor is honey, wheat, grass and spices, but unfortunately I am getting some light skunked notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Another skunked beer from Dupont. Huge shock.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 ZwartePiet (44) - BELGIUM - MAY 5, 2013
Oh bah tient une biere de miel qui sent le miel. C’est c’est pas banal
C’est pas sucré comme on pourrait le craindre, un tout tout tout petit peu amer meme.
