COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Biere de Miel is bottle conditioned and contains only water, barley and wheat, honey, hops and yeast. It has a marvelously delicate scent of honey, balnaced by a dry palate, resulting in a beer that is both estery and refreshing.

Disclaimer: Both the normal and the organic (biologique) version.

Strange tart floral aroma. Almost pineapple like. Anyone remember Flintstones vitamins? Orange, well carbonated, and cloudy. Esters and honey on the front, long, over sweet finish. Syrupy feel, but also very dry. Much stronger than any conventional saison deserves to be. Might be a good beer overall, but not for me.

Crystal clear(if you don’t add the last finger of the bottle), amazing head, dense, medium sized, white, lasting and lacing beautifully. Aroma is amazing, sour tangerine, intense and perfume-like. Honey, spices(clove), flowers all over the place with some light fruity esters. Taste is sweet, spicy hops, the same aroma dominating woderfuly, bubblegum, flowers, light malt. Soft carbonation, medium body. An amazing beer...

Beställning från Belgien. Smak och doft av jäst, vete, humle, gräs, örter, sädesslag med toner av honung. Frisk, fruktig, len i smakerna. Lagom sötma, fin beska. Mycket gott!

25cl from MOMH at home, into a snifter. Pale straw, thin white head. Medium sweet aroma of blossom, sweet malt, raw honey. Mouthfeel is quite thick, low to medium carb. Flavour of sweet malt, obvious honey, flowers and blossom, no real bitterness, just lightly sweet malt and floral. Finish is quite dry. Nice.

Golden color with small white head. Aroma is nice honey, vanilla, spicy yeasts, wintergreen. Like root beer. Taste is similar. Rather low carbonation. Nice, not too sweet!

Pours hazy light orange with white head. Kind of weak herbal aroma, with hints of honey. Tastes good, refreshing and dry aftertaste. I was hoping for more honey in the taste, but still worth trying.

Pours cloudy medium gold with lots of suspended particulate, one finger of white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, no lacing. (3/5) Nose is honey, apples, floral, mild citrus and funk. (7/10) Taste is mild to moderate sweet, mild bitter. (7/10) Light to medium body, low carbonation, and an off-dry mildly bitter finish. (3/5) Flavour is dominated by honey, fruit, and floral, but there’s a definite Belgian yeast character and dusty funk in the background. Not unpleasant, but there’s a distinct feeling of age and I can’t help but wonder how this tastes new. A little disappointing by comparison to the Saison Dupont. (12/20)
