COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Biere de Miel is bottle conditioned and contains only water, barley and wheat, honey, hops and yeast. It has a marvelously delicate scent of honey, balnaced by a dry palate, resulting in a beer that is both estery and refreshing.

Disclaimer: Both the normal and the organic (biologique) version.

Cloudy yellow in color with pearly bubbles that quickly disapate. Aroma of clove(?), slight huney. The honey taste is mild and hidden. I would have liked a more pronounced flavor. This beer quickly loses flavor on the tastebuds and leaves an odd but not bad aftertaste. The initial taste is sweet but subtle, almost no middle taste at all. A decent beer but not one to buy a case of.

Pours a cloudy gold-orange colour with a fizzy active white head. No lacing. Scent is honey and apple and sweet and warm. Taste is sweet and mild bodied.Yeast and honey elements are most prevalent with slight boquet of citrus flavour in the backdrop

Pours a hazy(large suspended solids possibly hop break) amber with an average sized dull white head and little to no lace. Aroma is spicy, clove, floral, zesty citrus, farmhouse yeast, mild funk, light sweetness and I feel like there’s something else there I just can’t put my finger on maybe it’s a fusel alcohol? Flavour is spicy, cloves, some warming alcohol, zesty citrus, farmhouse yeast, mild sweetness kinda honey like, lively carbonation, and a mild bitterness.

25cl bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours hazy gold with small foamy off-white head. Aroma is musty honey farm, sweat and cheese. Taste is hard white honey, smooth and seemlessly blended with a nice yeastiness, with some floral notes. Nice.

Pours a darkish golden with abundant pillowy white head. Nose is dough, soft flowers, a little sweet honey, clove. Flavor is pretty dry, but there are definitely honey notes in there. This is almost a cross between a saison and a mead. I get a lot of banana and honey on the mid palate, and another little dank honey note on the finish, along with a little bitterness and some cinnamon. Vibrant, prickly carbonation with a medium to heavy body. Pretty good.

TET (1751) - FINLAND - NOV 1, 2014
An orange-yellow beer with a big and blond head. The aroma is quite weird combination of dry grain and pollen, honey, and some fruits. Taste has fruits, sweetness of honey, dryness of pollen, some grain. Honey in the background. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Quite strange beer with a unique flavours that I haven’t found before. This isn’t inspirating.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2014 Bottle of 25 cl. I love this beer. She’s not one of the best in her kind, but damn, I love it ! Very nice sweet taste and aroma of honey, got a nice colour, but the palate is soooooo light... That’s her weakness. Cheers !

A very good saison, unique. Pour a bright orange with a bubbly white head. Smells amazing and very different, extremely floral, with rose and sunflower seeds. Also honey, cloves, herbs and sesame, with fennel. Reminds us of a small French village in springtime. Taste is pure saison upfront, with more floral notes and honey in the finish, along with a crisp spiciness. Better then the regular DuPont. Had in the bottle.
