COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Biere de Miel is bottle conditioned and contains only water, barley and wheat, honey, hops and yeast. It has a marvelously delicate scent of honey, balnaced by a dry palate, resulting in a beer that is both estery and refreshing.

75 cl bottle @ Olutravintola Konttori. Rated on 18.09.2009
Aroma has yeasty notes, some fruits, honey and wheat. Flavour is also quite yeasty with fruity notes, some apricot, wheat, honey and hints of citron. Palate is too high on CO2. Decent.

25cl from MOMH at home, into a snifter. Pale straw, thin white head. Medium sweet aroma of blossom, sweet malt, raw honey. Mouthfeel is quite thick, low to medium carb. Flavour of sweet malt, obvious honey, flowers and blossom, no real bitterness, just lightly sweet malt and floral. Finish is quite dry. Nice.

Golden color with small white head. Aroma is nice honey, vanilla, spicy yeasts, wintergreen. Like root beer. Taste is similar. Rather low carbonation. Nice, not too sweet!

Pours hazy light orange with white head. Kind of weak herbal aroma, with hints of honey. Tastes good, refreshing and dry aftertaste. I was hoping for more honey in the taste, but still worth trying.

Pours cloudy medium gold with lots of suspended particulate, one finger of white head diminishing rapidly to a thin skim, no lacing. (3/5) Nose is honey, apples, floral, mild citrus and funk. (7/10) Taste is mild to moderate sweet, mild bitter. (7/10) Light to medium body, low carbonation, and an off-dry mildly bitter finish. (3/5) Flavour is dominated by honey, fruit, and floral, but there’s a definite Belgian yeast character and dusty funk in the background. Not unpleasant, but there’s a distinct feeling of age and I can’t help but wonder how this tastes new. A little disappointing by comparison to the Saison Dupont. (12/20)

Cor dourada, com espuma de boa formação e persistência. Aroma cítrico, com um leve toque de mel. Sabor cítrico, bem carbonatada com final seco e com um leve sabor de mel. Bem refrescante. Muito boa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
