COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Biere de Miel is bottle conditioned and contains only water, barley and wheat, honey, hops and yeast. It has a marvelously delicate scent of honey, balnaced by a dry palate, resulting in a beer that is both estery and refreshing.

Hazy dark pour with a nice thick layer of white head. Has some meady honey notes on the aroma, slightly spicy and floral note, earthy hay and grass notes. Nice funk to it. Tastes of honey, lightly sweet, surprisingly dry with no noticable alcohol burn. Nice saison complexity with spice, hay, and floral flavors. Very nice.

Amber hazy with small white head. Fruity/acetic sour aroma. Complex taste with fruity/acetic sourness with touch of sweet and full of aromatic notes follwed by moderate bitterness, which satus in the aftertaste.

Bottle split at LKS Towers, thanks to Leighton Calrisian, 05/05/15. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a big old off white covering. Nose is bready, grain husk, bitter orange, Belgo yeast strokes, raljex, dentyne, perfumed notes, lemon shreds. straw. Taste comprises straw, tropical fruit notes, farmhouse, yeast esters, tangerine, pineapple, funk, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tangy fruit wash. Xolid old Xchool Xaisonics.

Bottle share at Leighton’s, thanks to Leighton. Dirty orange, hazy, lightly sparkling, huge foamy white head, light lacing. Aroma is booze, spicy and bready, quite a lot of white pepper. Body is medium, foamy, low carbonation. Taste is dry, tangy, honey, coriander seed, musty spice, pale breads. Interesting, quite nice.

Bottle shared at Leightons place. Thanks to Leighton for this one. Hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a lasting sticky white head. Aroma is big Belgian yeast, little clove, bit of sweet honey, smokey, earthy straw. Flavour is composed of light grains, honey, big Belgian yeast esters, straw, Palate is nice airy carbonation, Lingering citrus and a funky saison yeast. Really good stuff.

Bottle shared in London - picked up from BeerMerchants. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy white head. Massive Belgian yeast nose, big wheat bread, some hay. Medium sweet flavor with rich bready wheat, light alcohol, yeast, lemon, white grape. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and velvety texture. Lightly warming finish, more bready wheat, yeast, ripening citrus fruits. Quite solid overall.

750ml bottle. Great appearance of cloudy golden colour with huge white foam. Strong floral aromas, yeast and honey. Taste is very refreshing, lots of yeast, honey, hops, citrus fruits. High carbonation, medium body. Absolutely fantastic, one of the best beers you’ll drink in your life!

250ml brown bottle. Golden, cloudy, yeast specks and floaties. Holds a small thin white head that leaves no lacing. Aromas of honey, orange and lemon, floral. Taste - grains, yeast/spice, orange. Yeasty finish with dryness, light hops. Good carbonation. Tasty, enjoyed way more than expected but this small bottle is ridiculous.

Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, Belgium. Deep golden, medium white head. Typical Dupont house aromas along with some rubber and honey. Medium bodied, medium to high carbonation. Dry with medium bitterness.
