A beer you could do about 20 of in one nite, excellent. Aroma is distinctly yeasty, with oranges, spice coming from corrriander. Taste is light, but does have a good amount of flavour similar to the aroma to keep you intrested.

Bottle: Hazy, dark yellow colored, medium firm and creamy off-white head, sticking to the glass, visible carbonation;spicy, lemony nose; quite dry, bitter-fruity start; mild bitter flavour; slightly tart and fruity finish with some hoppy bitterness; a pleasant and spicy "light-beer", light bodied but by no means watery...............

schuimkroaat (410) - Leuven, BELGIUM - NOV 16, 2005
UPDATED: MAR 26, 2006 25 cl bottle, bbe Nov. 06. Dark golden with an almost fluorescent haze, quite lively pearling, small frothy head lacing fairly. Dry, phenolic, spiced aroma; hops, cardboard, citrus fruits. A freshly mown meadow comes through. Very sour (citrus juice) and dry, yet smooth, round taste with a grainy background and a punch of hops in the aftertaste. And they go on and on. Refreshing, light, effervescent palate - only here you can notice the real (lack of) strength.

Bottled. Cloudy golden, brief head. Sweetish and light bodied. Pleasant yeast and toffee character dominates it. The mouthfeel is lively but thin, and there is notes of grass, Medium bitterness.

I think this beer is slightly misunderstood, though whaleman hits the nail on the head. If you accept the roots of the saison style are in refreshing field workers who then have to get back to harvesting, this is the strength it would have been. Light bodied but delicate saison style hops in aroma and palate. Very refreshing but the 25cl bottle is a disaster - this needs to be available in litres.

Slightly hazy banana-yellow body and a sudsy, pure white head that fades. Substantial bubble gum and a hint of clove in the aroma. Mostly dry, peppery flavor with a bit of band-aid phenolics. Dry, medium-thin palate. With its delicate character, one can imagine this being closer to an authentic, traditional saison than the vast majority of modern offerings. A fair session beer.

Bottle Yellow, clear body. Frothy, white head, which lasts moslty. Nose of hops. Moderately bitter flavour. Nice low alcoholic beer. Probably the best one I’ve ever head.

Hoppy, citric and pepper aroma. Pale, yellow coloured with a white head. Taste is a little sweet, quite bitter, citric, peppery and hoppy. Like Joris said wet cardboard all over the place. Dry and watery brew (sounds a bit weird though..) Refreshing. Indeed a very typical dupont. It’s intense bitterness makes this brew a pleasant drink early in the evening.

Blonde and a bit cloudy. Pear and citrus in the aroma. Hoppy, citric, peppery flavor, typically Dupont. Thin and watery, but also very tasty. Refreshing. This one would qualify as an everyday beer.
