4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pros: Blown Away. Only Dupont could pack this much flavor and aromas in a 3.5% beer. Gorgeous rocky head. Very pure, natural and Belgian. I really need more of this. This is like a workout beer.
Cons: Not a single flaw

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden orange color with white head. Yeasty, musty, citrusy aromas. Yeasty, straw, slight lemon, musty, bread flavors. A refreshing, tasty beer. I wouldn’t even know it was a 3.5% beer just by drinking it.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from NK Saluhall.
Pours hazy golden with a shortlasting White head.
Hoppy barnyard, citrus sweet and bitter, slightly too much taste for the body.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
750 ml corked bottle from Boise Co-op. Light and somewhat bland saison. Listed on the label as a "table beer" (mine is labeled as "Avril") this would be good for drinking with food at lunch or dinner. Pale hazy golden with thick airy head. Light lemony/citrus aroma. taste is more grassy than floral, more hay than spice, extremely lightweight all around.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
25 cl bottle. Hazy yellow with a medium head. Mildly spicy aroma of yeast with plenty of wheat. Simple yeasty and wheaty taste. Does not feel watery despite of the low ABV. It’s a solid quaffing saison so I don’t understand the choice of putting it in a miniature bottle.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught sampler at Ned Kelly’s, Green Bay 08/2013 as "Dupont Avril". The odd homey one out on a Great Lake craft sample tour... Suspected this was a US market only, session version of their Saison, and in a way it is. Fruitier than the full-fledged version, with hints of daffodil/spring meadow and fluffy yeast making this a gentle sessioner, - as a saison in a way truer to its historical roots than the now standard, but obviously thinner in taste. Would revisit from bottle.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Rated on 10-20-2009 (Corked and caged bottle) When poured, this beer forms a large fizzy white head that mostly diminished, cloudy pale yellow body, and spotty amounts of lacing. The Aroma is sweet, fruity, spicy, and clove. The Taste is sweet, somewhat acidic, fruity, lightly spicy, and dry. The Palate is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. In conclusion, the flavor is very weak and mellow tasting. This beer left me not wanting to try it again.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle. Pours golden, semi hazy with a small white head. Aroma is yeasty. peppery and flowery with a touch of honey and pilslike maltiness (sweet light bread). A bit too sweet to be perfect. Taste is crisp and slightly sour with notes of white pepper, thai basil, dill, citrus vegtables, vanilla ice cream and roses. The herbal hoppiness is quite distinct. Slightly dry finish. Very interesting folköl, packed with flavors. Ridiciolously drinkable aswell!
