2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Medum white head. Pale faintly hazy yellow body. Mealy spicy rubbery aroma. Sharp chalky rubbery taste with spicy, fruity hoppy typically Belgian notes. Has good aspects, but too watered down for them to have much effect. Intensely harsh mouthfeel does not help. No real aftertaste. Not very successful. (0.25l bottle at Akkurat.)

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy light orange, big foamy white head. Sweaty spicy aroma. Light and crisp, yeasty fruit, and surprisingly very spicy palate. despite the lower ABV, this didn’t come across as wanting for character.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
750, corked and baled. Pours deeply cloudy medium amber with a thick, peaky, fluffy platinum blonde head. Nice big wet hay, grass, and mild skunk/soggy hop nose. Creamy body a little on the shy side of medium, plenty of active carb. The mid-palate is somewhere between the extremes of comments about this beer--some claim it’s just a watered down vielle provision, some was poetic over it as a triumph of restraint and delicacy. It’s a yummy, mild, subdued table beer. Slightly sweet nutty finish. It’s delicious and probably good anytime, but, then, I am a bit of a whore for anything from Dupont.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Cloudy pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with grass, citrus and fresh hops. Malty taste with notes of citrus, wheat, grass, hay and fresh hops in a dry finish. Light body. Rather thin, but tasty and very refreshing.

Comes in a great glass. This one is spicy with some lemongrass tang. It is an amazing beer at this abv.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
250ml bottle. Gold with a decent white head and moderate carbonation. Aroma of floral hops with a touch of spice. Light mouth feel with a hint of spice and some hops. Good, but it tailed off towards the finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle:   Cloudy straw, slightly fiery, sediment settling at the bottom, large sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Funky aroma, a little cheezy, wet sock, underarm, slightly barnish.   Not as floral or bright as other
Saisons.   Horse blanket and wet sock on the tongue.   Lacks the brightness or floral portion of most Saisons.   Falls off quickly.   Certainly more interesting on the nose than on the tongue.   Body and mouthfeel
are moderate.   Slightly bubbley.   Not a bad beer, but as a "table beer" I spoze its within line.   Pretty much a lighter version of the style.   Also seems a bit watered down.   To be expected I guess.   So, as
is, not a bad beer for being 3.5%ABV.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Toronado under the name Avril. This hazy yellow ale poured with a thin off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a fruity herbal wheat flavor with a yeasty finish. Tastes a bit odd compared to most other saisons.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A beer you could do about 20 of in one nite, excellent. Aroma is distinctly yeasty, with oranges, spice coming from corrriander. Taste is light, but does have a good amount of flavour similar to the aroma to keep you intrested.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
250 ml bottle. Finland. Shared w/ Brandman.
Hazy golden colour with small to average white head.
Fruity hops, Belgian yeast, bitterness, wheat and citrus in aroma. It’s like well hopped Witbier. Flavour is spices, Belgian yeast and some bitter hops. Short taste. The flavour is a bit disappointing after delicious hoppy aroma.
