250ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, diminishing white head. Wheaty aroma, a coriander note, cautious hints of orange zest, a touch of lemon. Taste is minimally sweet, wheaty, coriander, orange zest, a touch of lime and lemon mixture. Strong flavours, classic flavours, slightly clean and controlled.

Enjoyed as Dupont Foret Blanche - 750ml corked and caged bottle purchased at France 44 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 111223a stamped on label, 2.011 printed on the cork. The pour is a hazed golden yellow with a foamy three inch head. The head falls slower with decent lace. The aroma is citrus, grass and soft spice yeast. There is a hint of skunk initially though it cleared quick enough (three year old green bottle alert!). The taste is herbal medicinal, lemon, hay, grass and brighter spice clove yeast in the back. The palate is medium to light bodied with active carbonation and decent punch of yeast in the finish. This lacks a bit of crispness, though that may have to do with the age.

Tap at Hiranoya. Taste is very nice, light wheat, bit herby. Soft. Ice cream sweetness maybe. Fruity berries. Much nicer than I remember.

A hazy, yellow beer with a weak and white head. The nose of lemon, also other fruits, spices, some sourness, coriander. Taste is quite fresh fruits and lemon, light, some spices. Light to drink, nice carbonation. Good and refreshning, taste is slightly too light.

Aroma is sweet grains, clove, orange peels and wild yeast. Taste is a sweet malt body with some sour character. Some tarty bitterness and warm alcohol finish. Body is a light gold with thin sediment. Head retains very well.

Hazy, pale yellow. Quite a sweet aroma with some banana coming through. Flavour has initial zesty and spicy coriander but fades very quickly into a watery finish..

DuffMan (6552) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 13, 2014
Small 25cl bottle. Cloudy light orange with a short-lived white head. Crisp cucumber is the top note off the pour, then chamomile and hay. Watery, insipid wheaty palate, chamomile accents, no real spice. Best before May 2015, so I’m assuming freshness isn’t the issue here.

Bottle - 250ml. Hazy pale blond body with an average white foamy head. Weird malty/hoppy aroma with wet wood hints. Fair, slightly misbalanced taste carries grainy and flowery notes. Ends with a short bitter/grainy finish. Disappointing.

250ml bottle at home. Pours hazy lemon yellow, big white head, at first, soon goes. Aromas of lemon, coriander, bready yeast. Taste is light sweet, more bread malt. Slightly thin on the finish. Good.
