Blonde légèrement voilée, petit dépôt en suspension, effervescence moyenne, quasi pas de mousse. Grains bien présents, léger citronné, idem pour les épices, petite amertume, un peu trop aqueuse. Pas ma blanche préférée...

Pours a not so hazy golden with a thin white head that offers low retention and lacing. Also, a lot of particles float around in my glass... not too pleasing. Aroma is nice with its coriander and tart wheat notes. This smells like a really good wit. Taste is dry with fresh wheat, fruits and spices in the flavor. This is really refreshing! It finishes a bit short, though, no real aftertaste I mean. Body is light, mouthfeel lean. Carbonation just a touch too high again. Not bad at all!

25cl bottle from Vanuxeem. A nice cheeky little witte here with all the banana-ry yeast you could wish for and a great hazy quality that borders into German Weisbier territory. Yum yum.

Pale, hazy yellow pour with with fluffy white head that quickly settles to a blanket. Aromas of wheat, banana, tropical fruits, honey & coriander. Initial taste is banana, fruit salad, tropical fruit, with the sweetness from the wheat/wheat syrup following through; a little yeasty, too. Dry finish, light bodied with lively carbonation. Very refreshing and easy drinking.

250ml brown bottle. Pale yellow pour with haze and some dark floaties. Head is white and sadly fast fading. Nose of wheat/cereals, sweet orange peel, a little honeyish sweetness and mild spice. Taste has wheat and cereals, yeast, coriander. Dry finish, light in body and well carbonated. Refreshing to taste an actual Belgian brewed wit for a change, most of my witbier rates are from North America. A nice little witbier, and I mean little... this 250ml bottle is silly.

One of the better witbieren. Smooth wheaty body, with some nice spices and fruits.

Bottle at home. Translucent yellow with a steadfast loose white head. Aroma is hay, earthy. Later some soap develops. Flavour is full on wheat and bread and hay slight ciutrus lemon In the finish. Medium full body. Delicate. Very nice wit.

25cl bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais. Pale gold hazy thin lasting white head. Estery hoppy aroma, no soap. Good lemon on aroma. Fresh tasting. Almost the perfect aperitif. Good hop on the finish. I wish this was a 750ml bottle. I love this. One of the best Belgian wits I’ve had. Yes I’ve had big Danish and American versions that blow you away with bigness, but ultimately this is a relatively delicate beer and this one does it brilliantly whilst keeping true to the core essence. A truly awesome witbier.
