Bottle 25cl. @ home.
Unclear light to medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheaty, fruity notes, orange, moderate yeasty, coriander - peppery. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (200808)

25 cL bottle. Pours slight cloudy orange with a fizzy white head. Cardemomme and ginger spiced aroma, light butterish too. Flavour is butterish and ginger spiced. Finish is much the same. Terrible.

An unclear yellow beer with no head. The aroma is faint with notes of sweetness, sourness, and some sharpness as if it has been wild fermented? The flavor is sharp and sour (wild fermentation?) but also dry, wheaty, and a little sweet. It ends of on a pretty sour note with no sweetness. A somewhat weird flavor.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) Fully golden, pretty clear until you pour the sediment making the beer muddy, dark orange. The head is quite small yet present. Slightly tart wheaty touch and a very high dryness. Corianders are present but never dominate. Not the most thrilling "Bierre Blanche". 230405

Bottled. Hazy pale orange colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is wheat, sweet fruits and caramel. Flavour is yeast, wheat, dishwater and slight hints of honey. Acidic, but still refreshing.

[Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm] Hazy golden. Mustardy, spicy orangey nose. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. A full flavoured, ale-like witbier, straying away from the more light refreshing type.

Muddy amber color; creamy head. Malt aroma, with spices. More malty taste than ordinary Wit beers, with spices. Quite good, in the style.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2011 Bottle, 25cl. Golden body with some floaties. White head. Citrusy nose with some spicy hops and yeast notes. A bit citrusy maybe. Citrus, spice, pepper and some yeast in the flavor. Medium body. Citrus, spices and hops in the finish. Boring nose, nice flavor and too small bottle. 070707

25cl bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais. Pale gold hazy thin lasting white head. Estery hoppy aroma, no soap. Good lemon on aroma. Fresh tasting. Almost the perfect aperitif. Good hop on the finish. I wish this was a 750ml bottle. I love this. One of the best Belgian wits I’ve had. Yes I’ve had big Danish and American versions that blow you away with bigness, but ultimately this is a relatively delicate beer and this one does it brilliantly whilst keeping true to the core essence. A truly awesome witbier.
