3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 sebletitje (4394) - Enghien, - APR 1, 2011
Bouteille 33cl.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 bluebetty (880) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 18, 2012
Bootle. Pours very dark brown to black with dense dark tan coloured head. Aromas are somewhat subtle and show a little espresso coffee and some milk chocolate. A little licorice and belgian yeast coming through as it warms slight. Flavours likewise are quite sublte with some roasted grain and a little sweetness. Medium to thin mouthfeel.

Bottle @ home. Black to brown pour, foamy off-white head. Aroma is roasty, bready, and with caramel and licorice. Flavor is bitter spices, quite roasty, huge carbonation and a decent body. A bit rough, but pretty nice.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 RoodMormel (43) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAY 9, 2012
Very dark colored with a small foam. Aroma is fruity but hints of roasted coffee beans. Same for the taste, surprised by the freshness the fruitiness gives.

0.75 l - Good color and some lace but that’s it. No real palate. Really felt like a porter, especially in weight.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 JorgeLee (329) - Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2012
Bottle from Kris Wines. Looks great, jet black with big white head. Taste is smooth, with some mild burnt toast roastiness in a medium finish. A little thin and watery on the palate. Highly drinkable, pleasant without being particularly special.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Eructoblaster (2122) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 29, 2012
Bottle - 330ml. Pours a black body with a thick beige foamy head. Well balanced malty/hoppy aroma with plummy and subtle woody, coffeeish hints. Taste is slightly dominated by hoppy flavors. It carries roasted cereals notes and ends with a dry, bitter/grainy finish. Enjoyable.
